Background In today’s fast-paced world, employees in the bustling service sector struggle to balance their professional responsibilities with personal lives. COVID-19 blurred work–life boundaries due shift remote work, significantly affecting employee well-being and highlighting urgent need address this issue. Objective This study explores how preferences organizational supplies contribute (WLB) impact employees’ well-being. Furthermore, we decipher mediation effect of WLB moderation workload on primal relationship. Methods The present quantitatively analyzed ( n = 562) Haryana, India, through SEM-AMOS. Results We found a positive relationship between mediated physical, psychological, social Workload moderated WLB, enhancing benefits at lower levels, but did not moderate WLB. Conclusions emphasizes critical role well-being, grounded person–environment fit theory. findings offer valuable insights for organizations foster environments prioritizing ultimately leading improved retention, productivity, sustainable success.

Even though the link between psychosocial work environment and work-life balance (WLB) has been thoroughly researched, there is limited evidence evaluating impact of workplace violence, sexual harassment, conflicts, rivalry on WLB. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 2,471 respondents in Latvia from December 20, 2021, to July 14, 2022. WLB measured through a survey question assessing frequency imbalance, with responses categorized into dichotomous variables. The evaluated association selected hazards (conflicts, rivalry, psychological abuse, physical harassment), characteristics, socio-demographic factors, by using binomial logistic regression.
