Vitiligo is an acquired skin depigmentation disease involving multiple pathogenetic mechanisms, which ultimately direct cytotoxic CD8 + cells to destroy melanocytes. Abnormalities have been described in several even pigmented as expression of a functional inherited defect. Keratinocytes regulate homeostasis by the assembly proper barrier and releasing responding cytokines growth factors. Alterations epidermal proliferation, differentiation, lipid composition triggers for immune response activation vitiligo not yet investigated. By applying cellular lipidomic approaches, we revealed deregulated keratinocyte differentiation with altered composition, associated impaired energy metabolism increased glycolytic enzyme expression. keratinocytes secreted inflammatory mediators, further following mild mechanical stress, thus evidencing activation. These findings identify intrinsic alterations nonlesional epidermis, can be prime instigator local milieu that stimulates responses targeting

The “modern” cosmetology industry is focusing on research devoted to discovering novel neurocosmetic functional ingredients that could improve the interactions between skin and nervous system. Many cosmetic companies have started formulate products exhibit their activity cutaneous system by affecting skin’s neuromediators through different mechanisms of action. This review aims clarify definition neurocosmetics, describe features some available market, with a look at regulatory aspect. attention for combating stress, explaining stress pathways, which are also correlated aging. “Neuro-relaxing” anti-aging derived from plant extracts strategies combat inflammatory responses related presented. Abstract Atopic diseases are multifactorial chronic disturbances which may evolve one into another and have overlapping pathogenetic mechanisms. dermatitis is in most cases the first step towards development of atopic march represents a major socio-economic burden industrialized countries. The treatment often long-lasting some with lower effectiveness than expected. In order to prevent march, links between be understood. aim this review present points outlining link asthma, through research medical literature from recent years. Stratifying patient populations according clinical phenotype their disease specific measurable values (biomarkers) can help establish main etiopathogenetic mechanisms these populations. This will add predictive value for evolution disease, allow use more targeted therapy stop comorbidities.
