Abstract This review portrays a comparison between green protocols and conventional nanoparticle (NP) synthesis strategies, highlighting each method's advantages limitations. Various top‐down bottom‐up methods in NP are described detail. The chemistry principles emphasized for designing safe processes nanomaterial synthesis. Among the biogenic sources plant extracts, vitamins, enzymes, polysaccharides, fungi (Molds mushrooms), bacteria, yeast, algae, lichens discussed. Limitations reproducibility of terms availability raw material, variation synthetic protocol, selection material due to geographical differences elaborated. Finally, conclusion is drawn utilizing chemical principles, & circular economy strategy minimize waste generation, offering promising framework NPs emphasizing sustainability.

Nanotechnology has emerged as an effective means of removing contaminants from water. Traditional techniques for producing nanoparticles, such physical methods (condensation and evaporation) chemical (oxidation reduction), have demonstrated high efficiency. However, these come with certain drawbacks, including the significant energy requirement use costly hazardous chemicals that may cause nanoparticles to adhere surfaces. To address limitations, researchers are actively developing alternative procedures cost-effective, environmentally safe, user-friendly. One promising approach involves biological synthesis, which utilizes plants or microorganisms reducing capping agents. This review discusses various nanoparticle a focus on synthesis using naturally occurring bioflocculants microorganisms. Nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) is an important template for 1D nanomaterial synthesis. In this review, we focus on various fabrication methods, pore geometry modification, recent advances AAO, well sensor applications linked to our environment, daily life, safety. The can be divided into four types: direct current anodization (DCA), reverse pulse anodization, (PA), hybrid (HPA).
