Also, various applications of Schiff-base functionalized nanoparticles copper oxide (CuO-NPs) therapeutic been discovered. Thus, current research highlights (i) synthesis produced with a Schiff base (SB) serving capping agent during their (ii) assessment vitro biological activities base-synthesized (SB-CuO-NPs) (SB). Methods: SB-CuO-NPs were characterized using ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, zeta potential, DLS analysis, transmission electron microscope (TEM). It also focuses on assessing activities, including antioxidant, scavenging, anti-diabetic, anti-Alzheimer, anti-arthritic, anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic enzymes inhibitory methods described literature. Results: The results compared those SB. demonstrated superior when to SB from which they produced. Conclusions: this investigation concluded that CuO-NPs, synthesized an alternative agent, exhibited enhanced efficacy relative original In future, efficiency against Alzheimer’s, will be assessed experimental animals (in vivo).

5-Fluorouracil (5FU) is a common chemotherapy drug for various cancers. It has exhibited large potentials the treatment of both malignant and premalignant tumors. In meantime, topical application 5FU been limited to surface pre-carcinogenic So far, number nano systems have developed encapsulation targeted delivery improve its solubility, bioavailability, functional characteristics, leading development of, example, carriers in treatments. Due their considerable advantages over ordinary therapies, nanotechnology-based (DDSs), particularly polymeric nanocarriers (PNCs), led some sorts evolution many fields, including disease diagnosis DDS. As naturally occurring polymer, chitosan (CS) long regarded because biodegradability, biocompatibility, polycationic nature, non-toxicity, non-allergenic nature. addition, pH-responsive nature CS provides an exact dispersion cancer environment, converting it promising carrier system. Utilization 5-FU into carbon indicated positive results such as tumors prevention activity. Researchers successfully synthesized handful with distinctive characteristics 5FU; these come different forms, nano-sized particles (NPs), composites (NCs), emulsions (NEs), fibers (NFs). This study reviews mechanism formulations by analyzing physicochemical corresponding DDS terms morphology, charge, release profile, driving force. A more detailed analysis was performed on most popular pharmaceutical applications 5FU-loaded NPs. Effective facilitation improvement therapeutic effects cancers were also indicated. Herein, readers are introduced nanoscale based natural polymers like platforms therapy. More recent discoveries mechanistic anticancer behavior NPs further discussed.

Origanum vulgare ssp. hirtum essential oil (OEO) is a natural with high therapeutic potential. For some applications, however, the development of novel formulations still needed to improve bioavailability and stability OEO. In this study, we describe fabrication an original nanocomposite hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) physical hydrogel, containing OEO-loaded polymeric micelles, for topical delivery. The concentration main active compounds OEO—carvacol thymol—was determined using gas chromatography (GC) analysis. OEO was first encapsulated into Pluronic F127 then embedded HPC gel. Micellar gel pure polymers OEO-containing systems were characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS) rheology measurements, respectively. Selected evaluated cytotoxicity antiproliferative activity. hydrogel formulation micellar (8% HPC, 2% F127, 1% OEO) exhibited sustained release selectivity towards SH-4 tumor cells (an in vitro model melanoma).
