Abstract Introduction Epistemic trust, or trust in transmitted knowledge, has been proposed as a critical factor psychopathology and psychotherapy. This study aimed at evaluating the psychometric properties of Trust, Mistrust, Credulity Questionnaire (ETMCQ) Iran. Method Data were collected from 906 participants. Along with ETMCQ, measures mentalizing, mindfulness, perspective‐taking, attachment, emotion dysregulation, borderline personality disorder administered. Confirmatory analysis exploratory structural equation modeling (ESEM) used to determine factorial structure. Results The ESEM model showed an acceptable fit outperformed confirmatory model. A 14‐item version ETMCQ was retained after examining item performance. Our findings also established criterion‐related validity for mistrust credulity, internal consistency discriminant power credulity detecting positive screens disorder, measurement invariance across sexes. Conclusion provides evidence cross‐cultural applicability ETMCQ. Nonetheless, subscale require particular attention future research.

Early childhood adversity may dispose an individual to adopt a rigid and pervasive hypervigilant position toward information coming from others, resulting in high levels of epistemic mistrust (EM), which is supposed increase the risk developing psychopathology. A more intrinsic relationship between EM development personality disorders (PDs) assumed. Although theory trust (ET) rather novel, it has quickly become widely accepted field, despite much empirical evidence. This first study investigating level ET associations PDs among patients with PD, anxiety disorders, community sample. Our results demonstrated severe impairments patients, found severity types corroborate theoretically assumed model. Future research larger samples prospective designs needed explore further substantiate theoretical assumptions about ET.

Zusammenfassung Hintergrund Die Arbeit von pädagogischen Fachkräften beinhaltet die professionelle Gestaltung pädagogischer Interaktionen und das intrapersonelle Verarbeiten des Berufsalltags. Mentalisierungsfähigkeit der Fachkräfte – Fähigkeit, eigene fremde mentale Zustände zu erkennen interpretieren wird hierbei als wichtige Voraussetzung konzeptualisiert. Ziel Studie Das Trainingsprogramm „Curriculum Mentalisierungstraining“ Netzwerks MentEd.net verfolgt Ziel, in einem fünfmonatigen Training Mentalisierungsfähigkeiten, epistemisches Vertrauen Gesundheitserleben Lehrkräften fördern. Eine Evaluation Trainings liegt bisher nicht vor. Methode Zur Überprüfung Wirksamkeit erfolgten Datenerhebungen kontrollierten Längsschnittdesign zwischen Oktober 2023 (t1) März 2024 (t2) Hochschulseminaren. Experimentalgruppe bestand aus 35, Kontrollgruppe 69 Personen. Es wurden standardisierte Selbsteinschätzungsverfahren (Fragebögen) eingesetzt. Erfasst mit dem Reflective Functioning Questionnaire Attributional Complexity Scale, epistemische Epistemic Trust, Mistrust, and Credulity sowie Symptom-Checkliste. Analyse Daten erfolgte mithilfe Korrelationsanalysen, gepaarten t -Tests Regressionsanalysen. Ergebnisse Im Vergleich zur zeigten sich innerhalb Treatmentgruppe signifikante Zunahmen hinsichtlich epistemischem Komplexität mentalisierenden Zuschreibungen. hatte keinen Einfluss auf Teilnehmenden. Diskussion Aufgrund geringen Stichprobengröße sind erste Hinweise interpretieren, umfassenderen Studien replizieren sind. Schlussfolgerung liefert Belege Trainings. In diesem Beitrag wird epistemisches Vertrauen konzeptuell eingeführt und die jüngste empirische Forschung dazu vorgestellt. Epistemisches Vertrauen, eine Errungenschaft von frühen sicheren Beziehungserfahrungen, ist das basale in Person als sichere Informationsquelle. Das Konzept des epistemischen Vertrauens zentrale Charakteristikum für Beziehungsarbeit Veränderungsprozesse der Mentalisierungsbasierten Therapie an­gesehen, findet aber darüber hinaus auch schulübergreifend Eingang andere Therapieansätze, vor allem Arbeit mit strukturell stärker beeinträchtigten Patient:innen. Die entwicklungspsychologische, interpersonelle Sicht auf Stimulierung epistemischem im Kontext Psychotherapie eröffnet neue Perspektive Rolle therapeutischen Beziehung.

Background: Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) is a severely debilitating recently added symptom cluster in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11). So far, only limited information on mental health treatment-uptake and -satisfaction individuals with CPTSD available. The aim this study to investigate these aspects representative sample German general population. Methods: Participants completed Trauma Questionnaire (ITQ) identify participants CPTSD, as well questionnaires treatment uptake satisfaction, adverse childhood experiences, anxiety, depression, working ability, personality functioning, epistemic trust. Results: Of included n = 1918 participants, 29 (1.5%) fulfilled criteria for CPTSD. had received significantly more often than PTSD or depression (65.5% vs. 58.8% 31.6%; p 0.031) but reported less improvement (52.9% 78.0% 80.0%; 0.008). Lower levels trust were associated higher symptoms (p < 0.001).
