Cannabidiol (CBD) is a hydrophobic non-psychoactive compound with therapeutic characteristics. Animal and human studies have shown its poor oral bioavailability in vivo, the impact of consuming lipid-soluble CBD without food on gut bioaccessibility has not been explored. The purpose this research was to study after three-phase upper digestion experiment food, test lipase activity different substrate concentrations. Our results showed that enzyme fatty acid absorption increased presence bile salts, which may also contribute an increase bioaccessibility. matrix used mixture olive oil baby food. Overall, fed-state revealed significantly higher micellarization efficiency for (14.15 ± 0.6% 10 mg 22.67 2.1% 100 ingested) than fasted state (0.65 0.7% 0.14 0.1% ingested). could be explained by fact micelle formation from hydrolyzed lipids aid molecules. In conclusion, depends salts.

We present a novel, multicomponent nanoparticulate carrier system based on superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles with designed hydrophilic/hydrophobic balance oleic acid and TWEEN 80 to incorporate hydrophobic cannabinoids—cannabigerol cannabidiol—as well as the hydrophilic anthracycline drug epirubicin, forming conjugate anticancer system. Additionally, oxide-based formed core of system, thus providing it magnetic hyperthermia capabilities specific absorption rate comparable corresponding systems in literature. The interaction cell membrane was studied using Langmuir monolayers at air/water interface selected lipids modeling healthy cancerous membranes. Finally, cytotoxicity tests were carried out against SKOV-3 line vitro. A synergistic effect observed when both cannabinoid epirubicin conjugate, compared or alone, making our advantageous for further development tentative therapeutic use.

Obtaining orodispersible tablets (ODT) containing substances from the second Biopharmaceutical Class has raised concerns as dissolution test is challenging. This study aimed to select suitable excipients for developing cannabidiol (CBD) by direct compression method. No similar studies were found in literature. Excipients different classes characterized using SeDeM-ODT tool: fillers – lactose (LCT) and microcrystalline cellulose (CelMC), sweeteners sorbitol (SRB) mannitol (MNT), disintegrants sodium starch glycolate (SSG), croscarmellose (CCS), soy polysaccharides (Emcosoy® EMCS) two co-processed (Prosolv®-ODT G2 PODTG2 Prosolv® EasyTab sp PETsp). Drug compatibility with binary mixtures (1:1) was verified Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) Fourier Transform-Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Using expert system, showed good properties regarding compressibility disintegration behavior. Also, DSC FTIR results that small or no interactions between CBD took place.
