Bisphenol A (BPA) is an endocrine-disrupting chemical (EDC) and one of the most produced synthetic compounds worldwide. BPA can be found in epoxy resins polycarbonate plastics, which are frequently used food storage baby bottles. However, bind mainly to estrogen receptors, interfering with various neurologic functions, its use a topic significant concern. Nonetheless, neurotoxicity has not been fully understood despite numerous investigations on disruptive effects. Therefore, this review aims highlight recent studies implications system. Our findings suggest that exposure impairs structural molecular brain changes, promoting oxidative stress, changing expression levels several crucial genes proteins, destructive effects neurotransmitters, excitotoxicity neuroinflammation, damaged blood-brain barrier function, neuronal damage, apoptosis effects, disruption intracellular Ca

Abstract Atmospheric water harvesting provides decentralized and sustainable supplies of fresh in areas away from natural resources. However, an important challenge is that sources such as fog are subject to contamination airborne pollutants, especially near population centres. Here we demonstrate a rationally designed system can capture at high efficiency while simultaneously degrading organic pollutants. At the heart our design wire mesh coated with anatase titanium dioxide nanoparticles embedded polymer matrix. Once activated by sunlight, photoactive layer decomposes molecules diesel, even absence sunlight; moreover, wettability surface engineered enhance extraction. In outdoor tests, device maintain good performance well treatment >85%. The continuous production passive purification demonstrated study energy-free solution address scarcity.

Endocrine disruptor chemicals (EDCs) can have a harmful effect on the human body’s endocrine system and thus adversely affect development, reproduction, neurological, cardiovascular, immune systems metabolism in humans wildlife. According to World Health Organization, EDCs are mostly man-made found ubiquitously our daily lives, notably pesticides, metals, additives or contaminants food personal care products. Human exposure occurs through ingestion, inhalation, dermal contact. Bisphenol A (BPA) is proven EDC capable of mimicking blocking receptors altering hormone concentrations metabolism. Although consumed low doses, it stimulate cellular responses functions. In humans, BPA has been correlated with onset development several diseases. This literature review aimed verify effects male infertility using most recently published literature. Thus, this allowed us conclude that compound seems fertility, causing changes hormonal semen characteristics. However, these conclusions lack more robust reproducible scientific studies. Even so, since prevalence increasing, preventive measures must be taken ensure fertility.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a very important chemical from the commercial perspective. Many useful products are made it, so its production increasing day by day. It widely known that and analogs present in environment they enter our body through various routes on daily basis as we use things of this lives. BPA has already been reported to be an endocrine disruptor. Studies have shown binds strongly human estrogen-related receptor gamma (ERRγ) target it. This study seeks understand how it interacts with ERRγ. Molecular docking ERRγ was performed, estradiol taken reference. Then, physico-chemical toxicological analysis compounds performed. Subsequently, dynamic behavior ERRγ-BPA compound complexes studied molecular dynamics simulations over 500 ns, using simulated data, their binding energies were again calculated MM-PBSA method. We observed affinity much higher than estradiol, apart being toxic, can easily absorbed physicochemical properties similar those oral medicines. Therefore, facilitates understanding structure–activity relationship provides information about key amino acid residues interact compounds, which helpful design competitive inhibitors interrupt interaction In addition, will also developing new therapeutics.

Abstract Congenital heart disease (CHD) represents a major birth defect associated with substantial morbidity and mortality. Although environmental factors are acknowledged as potential contributors to CHD, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. Bisphenol A (BPA), common endocrine disruptor, has attracted significant attention due its widespread use health risks. This study examined effects of maternal BPA exposure on fetal development in murine model. The findings indicated that high‐dose resulted growth restriction, myocardial wall thinning, ventricular septal defects. Transcriptomic analysis revealed downregulation genes mitochondrial energy synthesis cardiomyocyte following exposure. Functional assays demonstrated impaired respiration reduced ATP production, disrupted membrane potential, increased intracellular reactive oxygen species levels cardiomyocytes. These results elucidate detrimental function, providing insights into linking chemical CHD.
