The methodological quality included moderate to high, but some limitations sampling strategies. Data synthesized using narrative synthesis. Results indicated that while only 3% professionals reported VR settings, they predominantly held positive towards identified numerous barriers. Key facilitators VR’s accessibility, safety controllability (the therapist’s ability customize stimulus according patients’ needs), increased patient engagement. barriers encompassed technical limitations, high cost, treatment suitability concerns, potential side effects, workload, time investment. findings highlight need targeted training programs, improved technological infrastructure, clearer guidelines practice. Future research could focus on ways address these enhance adoption.
