Background/Objectives: With the increasing life expectancy and, as a result, aging of global population, there has been rise in prevalence chronic conditions, which can significantly impact individuals’ health-related quality life, multidimensional concept that comprises an individual’s physical, mental, and social wellbeing. While balanced, nutrient-dense diet, such Mediterranean is widely recognized for its role disease prevention, particularly reducing risk cardiovascular diseases certain cancers, potential benefits extend beyond these well-known effects, showing promise improving physical mental wellbeing, promoting life. Methods: A systematic search scientific literature electronic databases (Pubmed/Medline) was performed to identify potentially eligible studies reporting on relation between adherence diet published up December 2024. Results: total 28 were included this review, comprising 13 conducted among general population 15 involving various types patients. Overall, most showed significant association HRQoL, with results retrieved domains suggesting seems play relevant both people affected by conditions inflammatory basis. Conclusions: Adherence provides preventing managing commonly associated populations. Furthermore, it enhances overall health individuals, ultimately supporting more effective less invasive treatment approaches diseases.

Background. Nutrition knowledge is a potential tool for improving disease management in multiple sclerosis (MS). Understanding how patients perceive and utilize dietary advice crucial optimizing support strategies to improve MS course management. Aim: To evaluate patient satisfaction with advice, explore awareness the need tailored educational materials. Materials methods. A total of 52 diagnosed (MS) participated this single-center survey-based cross-sectional study. Data were collected through structured online questionnaires from receiving treatment at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №4 Ukraine between November 2024 January 2025, descriptive statistics calculated. Results. 59 invited participate survey, 7 declining participate. The median age was 36 (IQR: 29-42). group included 38 (65,4%) inpatient 14 (34,6%) outpatient participants, 65,4% being female. Patients categorized as having relapsing-remitting (86.5%), primary progressive (9.6%), secondary (3.9%) forms MS. majority (70.6%) considered nutrition recommendations important, while 49% initiated dialogue about physicians, 67.4% sought information online. Satisfaction resources averaged 3.7/5 (n=30), compared 3.6/5 (n=23) provided by physicians. Conclusion.
