The number and importance of renewable energy communities (RECs) are increasing in all European countries due to the support EU national policies order foster transition through participatory strategies for distributed systems. However, their development is rather slow some countries, including Italy. paper addressed issue emergence these socio-technical configurations Italy, after related law which entered into force 2020 allowing possibility creating them. Our study focused on alliances among different actors (professionals, institutions, NGOs, citizens) highlighting possible trends or models future that need be confirmed further research. approach proposed analyse this current process Actor-Network Theory, aiming at drawing assemblages human non-human actants a general level. Today’s increasingly complex energy systems require innovative approaches to integrate and optimize different sources technologies. In this paper, we explore the system of (SoS) approach, which provides a comprehensive framework for improving systems’ interoperability, efficiency, resilience. By examining recent advances in various sectors, including photovoltaic systems, electric vehicles, storage, renewable energy, smart cities, rural communities, study highlights essential role SoSs addressing challenges transition. The principal areas interest include integration advanced control algorithms machine learning techniques development robust communication networks manage interactions between interconnected subsystems. This also identifies significant associated with large-scale SoS implementation, such as real-time data processing, decision-making complexity, need harmonized regulatory frameworks. outlines future directions intelligence autonomy subsystems, are achieving sustainable, resilient, adaptive infrastructure.

Aedes aegypti, the primary vector of several medically significant arboviruses-including dengue fever, yellow chikungunya and Zika-was successfully eradicated from Egypt in 1963. However, since 2011, there have been increasing reports its re-emergence, alongside outbreaks southern Egyptian governorates, raising public health concerns. This study aimed to model current future distribution Ae. aegypti Egypt. Local occurrence data were integrated with bioclimatic, anthropogenic biological environmental variables identify key factors influencing aegypti. Maximum entropy (MaxEnt) modelling demonstrated strong predictive performance (area under receiver operating characteristic curve [AUC] mean = 0.975; true skill statistic [TSS] 0.789). The determinants habitat suitability identified as human population density, annual precipitation normalised difference vegetation index (NDVI). Current predictions indicate that suitable habitats for are concentrated Nile Valley, Delta, Fayoum Basin, Red Sea coast South Sinai. Projections climate change scenarios suggest an expansion habitats, particularly Delta region. By 2050, predicts a 61%-68% increase area, further 64%-69% by 2070, depending on scenarios. These findings crucial informing control disease prevention strategies, considering Egypt's status one world's leading tourist destinations.

The transition to sustainable energy systems in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region addresses critical challenges of environmental protection, security, socio-economic resilience. Using neo-institutional theory, this paper examines intricate relationship between formal informal institutions their significant impact on region’s transition. Despite MENA abundant renewable resources, numerous institutional barriers, such as governance inefficiencies, regulatory inconsistencies, entrenched socio-cultural norms, significantly hinder Through a review existing literature, study presents comprehensive analytical framework designed overcome these with focus Just Sustainable Energy Transition model. This strategic model emphasizes equity, sustainability, inclusive pillars for reform. offers detailed recommendations change underscores importance collaborative efforts among governments, industry stakeholders, international partners unlock potential, advance global sustainability goals, ensure more secure resilient future.

Jordan faces significant, immediate challenges of enhancing energy security while mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. One the most promising approaches to achieve sustainable development, security, and environmental conservation is increase integration renewable into electricity generation. To this end, Jordanian government aims expand investments in green sector, with solar wind expected play a crucial role meeting demands promoting sustainability. This paper examine distinct dynamics, challenges, obstacles, potential solutions related establishing community farms suburban areas Jordan. It seeks highlight opportunities barriers influencing adoption country. Evaluation results from engaging 320 key stakeholders were obtained through questionnaire, after comprehensive analysis, it became evident that benefits positive aspects outweigh their drawbacks obstacles. These insights can be useful guiding policies practices make projects reality within Jordan’s areas. Egypt pays extraordinary attention to climate action, which is gaining momentum, coinciding with reaching the peak of status quo by hosting 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, Conference Parties (COP27). Renewable energy sources are one principal axes state’s plan combat change and open new horizons toward decarbonization. Rural commons act as a food basket essential function in urban areas enhance ecosystem services, even though currently they facing environmental challenges. Therefore, this study aims restore rural from consumerism productivity an create tendency momentum self-sufficiency dogma promoting community concept top-down approach Egypt. Two steps can articulate this: First, defining legal key showing its roots European policies provide direction research. Second, analyzing current Egyptian legalization, laws, efforts, best practices, those could address, allow, encourage concept’s core. The results proved that first research discuss climate–energy–land use perspective, integrated previous bottom-up intervention. Meanwhile, it explains state knowledge better understanding institutional context, high level coordination cross sectors proving communities presented practices. Abstract Seismic microzoning is the process of mapping out and comprehending differences in ground motion due to earthquakes a certain location. Accurate seismic vital for development safety buildings infrastructure earthquake-prone locations. In this work, we present application microtremors, multichannel analysis surface machine learning approaches at Benban Solar Park Aswan, Egypt. The findings investigation indicated that was generally stiff, with regions having stronger stiffness damping qualities than others. data also variances conditions various sites inside solar park, greater risk earthquakes. Overall, combination analysis, has shown be an excellent strategy correctly effectively assuring structural integrity power plants park.
