Staphylococcus aureus (SA) is one of the most common causes hospital-acquired infections and foodborne illnesses commonly found in nature air, dust, water. The spread transmission SA aerosols air has potential to cause epidemic among humans between animals. To effectively provide timely warning atmosphere, identification detection aerosol concentrations are required. Due their homogeneous physicochemical properties, highly monodisperse submicron polystyrene (PS) microspheres can be used as simulants aerosols. In this study, 800 nm fluorescent PS (f-PS) with fluorescence spectra particle size distribution similar those were prepared. f-PS had a characteristic peak at 465 nm; aerosols, that further verified, mainly range 500 nm–1000 finally, it was still possessed characteristics after 180 days. prepared study very close terms providing new idea for analogs SA.
