Background and Objectives: Persistent exposure to airborne fine dust (FD) particles contributing air pollution has been linked various human health issues, including respiratory inflammation, allergies, skin diseases. We aimed identify potential seaweed anti-inflammatory bioactive reagents determine their effects on systemic inflammatory responses induced by FD particles. Materials Methods: While exploring reagents, we purified compounds with from the extracts of Ecklonia cava, stolonifera, Codium fragile. Structural analyses siphonaxanthin (Sx), fucoxanthin (Fx), dieckol (Dk), phlorofucofuroeckol-A (PFF-A) were performed using NMR LC-MS/MS. Results: Notably, these compounds, especially PFF-A, showed significant protective against FD-induced in RAW 264.7 cells without cytotoxicity. Further investigation inflammatory-associated signaling demonstrated that PFF-A inhibited IL-1β expression modulating NF-κB/MAPK signal pathway cells. Additionally, gene profiling revealed early activation signature genes involved production cytokines chemokines profiling. Treatment markedly reduced levels pro-inflammatory apoptosis-related even elevated Bmp families. Conclusions: These results suggested is a natural therapeutic candidate for managing response.

The identification of multifunctional peptides derived from marine byproducts represents a significant challenge in the field. In Thailand, fisheries industry exports salted jellyfish, which results low-value primarily employed for animal feed. Previous studies have indicated bioactivities jellyfish protein hydrolysates Lobonema smitthii ; however, properties Rhopilema hispidum remain largely unexplored. This research aimed to characterize synthetic bioactive sourced ( R. ), with specific emphasis on their antioxidant, angiotensin-I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory, and anti-inflammatory activities. hydrolysate obtained umbrella portion, subjected pepsin treatment at 3:20 enzyme-to-substrate ratio 48 h 37 °C, demonstrated highest levels antioxidant activity (DPPH = 1.85 ± 0.05 mM TE/mg protein, ABTS 7.28 0.03 FRAP 3.04 0.12 FeSO 4 /mg protein). Following purification, 18 novel exhibiting high scores (FRS+CHEL > 0.48) were identified synthesized. Notably, peptide MVVACVLPEA exhibited 56.07 protein), ACE inhibitory (91.69%), activities (NO release 34.59 µ M) without cytotoxic effects, although it is important note that two other did demonstrate cytotoxicity. investigation reports total 16 synthesized possess triple functional activities—antioxidant, anti-inflammatory—without cytotoxicity, thus highlighting potential applications health-related fields.
