The search for an economically viable and environmentally benign method the treatment of wastewater represents a significant global challenge. Accordingly, this study examined removal organic pollutants from through use copper oxide, silver silver-doped oxide nanoparticles, which were synthesized extracts plant Urginea maritima. green synthesis nanoparticles simple, rapid, cost-effective friendly that has demonstrated efficacy in dyes wastewater. characterization these by XRD UV-Visible spectroscopy demonstrates formation oxides different syntheses. results degradation crystal violet indicate CuO exhibits higher photodegradation efficiency than undoped syntheses, with 98.22% after time 60 minutes. This makes them highly promising catalyst water purification environmental remediation.

Sargassum muticum (SM) poses a serious environmental issue since it is fast-expanding invasive species occupying key areas of the European shoreline, disrupting autochthonous algae species, and disturbing ecosystem. This problem has concerned general population scientific community. Nevertheless, as macroalgae are recognized source bioactive molecules, abundance SM presents an opportunity raw material. In this work, response surface methodology (RSM) was applied tool for optimization extraction compounds from by microwave-assisted (MAE). Five different parameters were used target functions: yield, total phenolic content (TPC); antioxidant measurements 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity (DPPH), 2,2′-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS), β-carotene bleaching (BC). After optimal conditions determined (time = 14.00 min; pressure 11.03 bar; ethanol 33.31%), chemical composition bioactivity optimum extract evaluated to appraise its capability scavenge reactive potential antibacterial, antidiabetic, antiproliferation, neuroprotective agent. The results lead conclusion that MAE crude properties, being especially active antiproliferation agent nitric oxide superoxide scavenger.
