It has been a year since the launch of Chat Generator Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT), generative artificial intelligence (AI) program. The introduction this cross-generational product initially brought huge shock to people with its incredible potential, and then aroused increasing concerns among people. In field medicine, researchers have extensively explored possible applications ChatGPT achieved numerous satisfactory results. However, opportunities issues always come together. Problems also exposed during ChatGPT, requiring cautious handling, thorough consideration further guidelines for safe use. Here, we summarized potential in medical field, including revolutionizing healthcare consultation, assisting patient management treatment, transforming education facilitating clinical research. Meanwhile, enumerated researchers’ arising along broad applications. As it is irreversible that AI will gradually permeate every aspect modern life, hope review can not only promote people’s understanding future, but remind them be more about “Pandora’s Box” field. necessary establish normative use as soon possible.

The use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in academia is a subjective and hotly debated topic. Currently, there are no agreed guidelines towards the usage GenAI systems higher education (HE) and, thus, it still unclear how to make effective technology for teaching learning practice. This paper provides an overview current state research on HE. To this end, study conducted systematic review relevant studies indexed by Scopus, using preferred reporting items reviews meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. search criteria revealed total 625 papers, which 355 met final inclusion criteria. findings from showed future trends documents, citations, document sources/authors, keywords, co-authorship. gaps identified suggest that while some authors have looked at understanding detection AI-generated text, may be beneficial understand can incorporated into supporting educational curriculum assessments, teaching, delivery. Furthermore, need additional interdisciplinary, multidimensional HE through collaboration. will strengthen awareness students, tutors, other stakeholders, instrumental formulating guidelines, frameworks, policies usage.

Large language models (LLMs) excel in providing natural responses that sound authoritative, reflect knowledge of the context area, and can present from a range varied perspectives. Agent-based simulations consist simulated agents interact within environment to explore societal, social, ethical, among other, problems. Simulated generate large volumes data discerning useful relevant content is an onerous task. LLMs help communicating agents’ perspectives on key life events by narratives. However, these narratives should be factual, transparent, reproducible. Therefore, we structured narrative prompt for sending queries LLMs, experiment with generation process using OpenAI’s ChatGPT, assess statistically significant differences across 11 Positive Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) sentiment levels between generated real tweets chi-squared tests Fisher’s exact tests. Abstract Introduction The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) chat programs has opened two distinct paths, one enhancing interaction and another potentially replacing personal understanding. Ethical legal concerns arise due to the rapid development these programs. This paper investigates academic discussions on AI in medicine, analyzing context, frequency, reasons behind conversations. Methods study collected data from Web Science database articles containing keyword “ChatGPT” published January September 2023, resulting 786 medically related journal articles. inclusion criteria were peer-reviewed English medicine. Results United States led publications (38.1%), followed by India (15.5%) China (7.0%). Keywords such as “patient” (16.7%), “research” (12%), “performance” (10.6%) prevalent. Cureus Journal Medical (11.8%) had most publications, Annals Biomedical Engineering (8.3%). August 2023 highest number (29.3%), with significant growth between February March April May. General Internal (21.0%) was common category, Surgery (15.4%) Radiology (7.9%). Discussion prominence ChatGPT research, despite lower research funding, indicates platform’s popularity highlights importance monitoring its use for potential medical misinformation. China’s interest suggests a focus Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications, public bans platform. Cureus’ success publishing can be attributed open-access, publication model. identifies trends plastic surgery, radiology, obstetric gynecology, emphasizing need ethical considerations reliability assessments application practice. Conclusion ChatGPT’s presence literature is growing rapidly across various specialties, but safety, privacy, accuracy persist. More needed assess suitability patient care implications non-medical use. Skepticism thorough review are essential, current studies may face retraction more information emerges.
