Honeysuckle, as a medicinal and edible substance, has been widely used for thousands of years. However, its quality is easy to change during storage by strong light, high temperature, humidity other inappropriate conditions. In this study, taking light an example, the changes honeysuckle were explored simulated accelerated test. The results showed that after 18 days under (6000 ± 10 Lx), color changed from green-white yellow-white, parameter a* value increased 0.522 4.061, L* 68.51 75.05. contents chlorophyll a, b, carotenoid decreased 90%, 78.67, 75.69%, respectively. Total phenol content 18.200 13.087 GAE mg·g-1, although total flavonoid antioxidant activities fluctuated without significant difference. Except quercetin, chlorogenic acid nine bio-active compounds increased, resulting in higher than before storage, which indicated still had good utilization discoloration. Combined with metabolomics technology, 22 different metabolites related these screened identified, such pheophorbide astilbin, succinic acid. KEGG enrichment analysis oxidative decomposition phenolic pigment components chlorophylls caused chlorosis honeysuckle. summary, honeysuckle, it didn't affect value. Meanwhile, also systematically explains why Chinese pharmacopoeia describes character "green-white or yellow-white".

However, G10H not characterized at enzymatic mechanism and regulatory function Lonicera japonica. A gene related to monoterpenoid, geraniol 10-hydroxylase, has been cloned from medicinal plant The gene, LjG10H, encodes peptide 498 amino acids with predicted molecular weight 54.45 kDa. LjG10H shares homology 72.93-83.90% other plants. Phylogenetic analysis suggests that protein encoded by this belongs family. Tissue-specific expression revealed most highly expressed flowers. Through heterologous E. coli, was purified its catalytic activity studied. results show enzyme can catalyze hydroxylation 10-hydroxygeraniol. Additionally, japonica seedlings silenced reduction monoterpenoid content. Summary Monitoring and localizing molecules on living plants is critical for understanding their growth, development disease. However, current techniques molecular imaging of often lack spatial information or require tedious pre‐labelling. Here, we proposed a novel platform that combines sliver nanowire‐doped Ti 3 C 2 MXene (Ag NWs@MXene) flexible film substrate with laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (AMF‐LDI‐MSI) to study the distribution biomolecules surface plants. This overcomes MSI challenges posed by difficult‐to‐slice plant tissues (e.g., tough water‐rich roots fragile flowers) enables precisely transfer visualize molecule. Comparisons measurement results those from matrix‐assisted LDI‐MSI (MALDI‐MSI) technology demonstrate accuracy reliability platform. Biocompatibility evaluations indicated without observable adverse effects health The growth disease‐associated signalling molecules, such as choline, organic acids carbohydrates, can be in situ non‐destructively detected surfaces plants, which important tracking diseased areas.
