<b>Background and Objective:</b> Isolation investigation of plant growth promoting bacteria on potato plants can provide significant information for the application beneficial in production. This study aims to isolate characterize endophytic isolated from roots. In addition, potential endophytes under <i>in vitro</i> conditions was also investigated. <b>Materials Methods:</b> The roots 15 healthy were excised surface sterilized by NaOCl finally rinsed water. confirmed surface-sterilized then aseptically cut into small fragments spread onto isolation media, followed incubation at 27°C up 3 days. Six isolates that showed differences colony morphology selected further investigation. All screened IAA production, nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilization. <b>Results:</b> Five identified as <i>Bacillus</i> 30 <i>Paenibacillus alvei</i>. exhibited good While Iso-27 had no fixation activity, Iso-28 highest level activity (3.59 mg L1), four (Iso-9, Iso-10, Iso-11, Iso-28) could solubilize phosphate, ranging 49.64 g L1 67.98 L1. After being inoculated with plants, 9, 10, 28, 30, improved stalk length, root number, fresh mass dried plants. <b>Conclusion:</b> potentially be applied culture.
