Pitaya (Hylocereus spp.) is a member of the cactus family that native to Central and South America but now cultivated throughout sub-tropical tropical regions world. It great importance due its nutritional, ornamental, coloring, medicinal, industrial, high consumption values. In order effectively utilize develop available genetic resources, it necessary appreciate understand studies pertaining usage, origin, nutrition, diversity, evaluation, characterization, conservation, taxonomy, systematics genus Hylocereus. Additionally, gain basic understanding biology plant, this review has also discussed how biotechnological tools, such as cell tissue culture, micropropagation (i.e., somatic embryogenesis, organogenesis, somaclonal variation, mutagenesis, androgenesis, gynogenesis, altered ploidy), virus-induced gene silencing, molecular marker technology, have been used enhance pitaya germplasm.

An improved lightweight network (Improved YOLOv5s) was proposed based on YOLOv5s in this study to realise all-weather detection of dragon fruit a complex orchard environment. A ghost module introduced the original model. The coordinate attention mechanism joined make model accurately locate and identify dense fruits. bidirectional feature pyramid built improve effect at different scales. SIoU loss function adopted convergence speed during training. used detect dataset collected natural Results showed that mean average precision ( mAP ), P ) recall R 97.4%, 96.4% 95.2%, respectively. size, parameters (Params) floating-point operations (FLOPs) were 11.5 MB, 5.2 M 11.4 G, Compared with network, Params FLOPs reduced by 20.6%, 18.75% 27.8%, Meanwhile, 1.1%. results prove had more structure better performance. Moreover, AP for under front light, back side cloudy day night 99.5%, 97.3%, 98.5%, 95.5% 96.1%, performance met requirements good robustness. This provides theoretical basis technical support monitoring unmanned aerial vehicle technology intelligent picking robot technology.

Geographical factors affect the nutritional, therapeutic and commercial values of fruits. Dragon fruit (Hylocereus spp) is a popular in Asia potential functional food with diverse pharmacological attributes. Although it produced various localities, information related to altitudinal variation dragon nutrients active compounds scarce. Hence, this study aimed investigate variations metabolite profiles H. polyrhizus (variety Jindu1) pulps from three different altitudes China, including Wangmo (WM, 650 m), Luodian (LD, 420 Zhenning (ZN, 356 m). Jindu1 main cultivated pitaya variety Guizhou province, China.

Dragon fruit (Hylocereus spp.), referred to as 'Kamalam' in India, has gained popularity recent times due its unique appearance, nutritional benefits, and stress tolerance/resistance. Hylocereus undatus, H. monacanthus, megalanthus are the major dragon variants cultivated globally. India embraced cultivation, expanding area production through several government initiatives research institutes. Being introduced 1990s, there is a dearth of information about technology cultivation. The present review highlights advancements cultivation techniques assessing various aspects such planting techniques, propagation, training pruning, irrigation, nutrient management, harvesting practices fruit.

(1) Background: Climate change has several consequences; one of them is increasing the severity droughts. This led to an opportunity study arid zone plants as food sources that have potential biological activities and improve consumer health. (2) Methods: In this work, we review recent research focused on traditional use importance plants, their nutritional contribution, beneficial effects health when they are consumed; these primarily because antioxidant activity, which inhibits free radicals contributes improved nutrition benefits (3) Results: Several plant-based functional studies shown consumption bioactive compounds a complement drugs for preventing some chronic degenerative diseases, such gastrointestinal diabetes, obesity. (4) Conclusions: Given all previously mentioned factors, from zones obtaining with low water requirements.
