In order to understand how omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (ω-3 PUFA) supplements affect breast cancer prevention and treatment, a systematic review of articles published in the last 5 years two databases was performed. Of 679 identified, only 27 were included examined based on five topics, taking into account: induction type used animal models; characteristics model by cell transplantation; experimental design ω-3 supplementation—combined or not with treatment antitumor drug; acids (FAs) composition used; analysis studies’ outcomes. There are diverse well-established models literature, very relevant histological molecular similarities depending specific objective study, such as whether method tumor transgenic, transplantation, oncogenic drugs. The analyses outcomes mainly focused monitoring growth, body/tumor weight, molecular, genetic, analyses, few studies evaluated latency, survival, metastases. best results occurred when supplementation PUFA associated drugs, especially metastases volume/weight tumors started early maintained for long time. However, beneficial effect an agent remains unclear.

Breast cancer (BC) is the most common worldwide. Chemotherapy (CT) essential for treatment of BC, but often accompanied by several side effects, including taste alterations, due to different mechanisms. Although dysgeusia usually underestimated clinicians, it considered very worrying and disturbing patients undergoing CT, because induces changes in dietary choices social habits, affecting their physical psychological health, with a profound impact on quality life. Several strategies therapies have been proposed prevent or alleviate CT-induced dysgeusia. This review aimed evaluate available evidence prevalence, pathophysiological mechanisms, clinical consequences, managing BC receiving CT. We queried National Library Medicine, Cochrane Library, Excerpta Medica dataBASE, Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature database, performing search strategy using database-specific keywords. found that literature this topic scarce, methodologically limited, highly heterogeneous terms study design criteria patient inclusion, making difficult obtain definitive results make recommendations practice.

Cancer remedies have been sought from all possible directions, including chemicals, irradiation, nanomaterials, natural compounds, like. In this current review, we surveyed milestones achieved by green tea catechins what has accomplished in therapy. Specifically, assessed synergistic anticarcinogenic effects when (GTCs) are combined with other antioxidant-rich compounds. Living an age inadequacies, combinatorial approaches gaining momentum, GTCs progressed much, yet there insufficiencies that can be improvised antioxidant This review highlights not many reports specific area encourages recommends attention direction. Breast cancer is a significant public health problem globally and prevention strategies have become of great interest as its incidence rises. Exploring the connection between dietary patterns reduction breast risk considered promising approach. High levels fiber, phytochemicals, good antioxidant profile, composition advantageous fatty acids are characteristics healthy programs such Mediterranean diet. This review summarized discussed active compounds that important in preventing cancer, including components from recent related reports. These include polyunsaturated acids, alcohol. Although exact mechanism for using these factors not well understood, combination all elements diet plays role reducing risk. Considering elevated probability relapse mortality, it crucial to investigate correlation nutritious pattern while identifying bioactive potential mitigate incidence.

This systematic review investigated the effects of exercise interventions combined with diet and/or dietary supplement on anthropometry, body composition, metabolic biomarkers, physical function, healthy lifestyles, quality life, psychosocial variables and fatigue for women breast cancer. A search was performed in PubMed Web Science databases (from inception to 1 March 2022). carried out following Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The methodological risk bias included studies assessed Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scale. total 13 randomised controlled trial were included, comprising 1569 cancer patients. main finding this is that groups performing combining plus show significant improvements cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength, fatigue, anxiety, depression sleep compared control groups. On other hand, use supplementation does not result an improvement using alone or alone.
