Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a complex pathophysiological state with incidence similar to that of global epidemic and represents risk factor for the onset chronic non-communicable degenerative diseases (NCDDs), including cardiovascular disease (CVD), type 2 diabetes mellitus, kidney disease, some types cancer. A plethora literature data suggest potential role gut microbiota in interfering host metabolism, thus influencing several MetS factors. Perturbation microbiota’s composition activity, condition known as dysbiosis, involved etiopathogenesis multiple diseases. Recent studies have shown micro-organism-derived metabolites (including trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO), lipopolysaccharide (LPS) Gram-negative bacteria, indoxyl sulfate p-cresol sulfate) induce subclinical inflammatory processes MetS. Gut taxonomic species or abundance are modified by many factors, diet, lifestyle medications. The main purpose this review highlight correlation between different dietary strategies changes metabolites. We mainly focus on validity/inadequacy specific patterns reduce processes, leaky subsequent endotoxemia. also describe chance probiotic supplementation interact immune system limit negative consequences associated

Early life is characterized by developmental milestones such as holding up the head, turning over, sitting and walking that are typically achieved sequentially in specific time windows. Similarly, early gut microbiome maturation can be temporal microorganism acquisition, colonization selection with differential functional features over time. This orchestrated microbial sequence occurs from birth during first years of age before reaches an adult-like composition function between 3 5 age. Increasingly, these different steps development recognized crucial windows opportunity for long term health, primarily linked to appropriate immune metabolic development. For instance, disruptors preterm Cesarean-section birth, malnutrition antibiotic use associated increased risk negatively affect long-term health. Different discriminant taxa functionalities used describe age-appropriate development, advanced modelling techniques enable understanding visualization optimal trajectory. Specific related later health conditions, however, whether have a causal relationship topic intense research. nutrition important modulator, 'Mother Nature' provides model breast milk sole source postnatal period, while dietary choices prenatal weaning period large extent guided tradition culture.
