This study was designed to investigate the association between nutrients and female infertility.A cross-sectional on 18-45 years of age reproductive-age women conducted using data from National Health Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES) for periods 2013-2014 2015-2016. Multivariate logistic regression analysis performed evaluate infertility. Subgroup applied body mass index (BMI). Results were summarised an odds ratio (OR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI).Of total 1713 women, 204 (11.91%) infertile. The result demonstrated that higher intake carbohydrate (OR: 0.46, CI: 0.24-0.86, p = 0.018), vitamin A 0.44, 0.24-0.80, 0.009), C 0.48, 0.26-0.88, 0.020), magnesium 0.36, 0.17-0.76, iron 0.43, 0.23-0.82, 0.012), lycopene 0.55, 0.33-0.91, 0.022), folate 0.38, 0.20-0.70, 0.003) associated lower risk subgroup also reported intakes A, C, related infertility among BMI being 18.5-24.9 kg/m2. To investigate the molecular effects of leptin on uterine leiomyoma cells.Experimental study using in vitro culture immortalized human (HuLM) cells.Academic university center.Women with fibroids who underwent a hysterectomy or myomectomy.Administration recombinant to media cultured HuLM cells separately combination pharmacologic Janus kinase 2 (JAK2)/signal transducer and activator transcription 3 (STAT3) mitogen-activated protein (MAPK)/extracellular signal-regulated (ERK) inhibitors. We examined tissues for expression receptor, termed OB-R. Cellular proliferation was measured at 6, 24, 48 hours 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide assay. Protein levels proliferating cell nuclear antigen, collagen 1, phosphorylated STAT3/total STAT3, ERK1/2 total were quantified immunoblotting. Pharmacologic inhibitors employed further assess role JAK2/STAT3 MAPK/ERK pathways proliferative response. The presence OB-R confirmed clinical myometrial tissue obtained from separate subjects immunofluorescence staining, identified There no significant difference receptor myometrium compared that tissue. Leptin stimulated extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition 24 after treatment. Pretreatment inhibitor attenuated ECM deposition, pretreatment significantly decreased leptin's stimulatory effect deposition.Leptin induces response cells. These findings suggest leptin, acting through pathways, is involved development leiomyomas, which may partly explain their increased incidence obese women.
