Milk bioactivity refers to the specific health effects of milk components beyond nutrition. The science involves systematic study these and their effects, as verified by empirical data, controlled experiments, logical arguments. Conversely, ’faith in bioactivity’ can be defined personal opinion, meaning, value, trust, hope for that are investigation natural, social, or human sciences. Faith strictly secular, but also influenced spirituality religion. aim this paper is show scientific knowledge frequently supplemented with faith convictions establish public understanding bioactivity. Mammalian an immensely complex fluid containing myriad proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, micronutrients multiple functions across species, genetics, ages, environments, cultures. Human includes not only physical health, mental, spiritual requiring widely different fields prove relevance, safety, efficacy interventions. These relationships between feeding outcomes prevent firm conclusions based on logic alone. Current beliefs value breast milk, colostrum, infant formula, isolated proteins (e.g., immunoglobulins, α-lactalbumin, lactoferrin, growth factors) both contribute understand, stimulate, restrict use benefits breastfeeding infants doubt, strong its rely science, mechanisms unclear. Likewise, fear of, trust in, formula may faith. Knowledge from safeguards individuals society against ‘milk superstition’. wisdom faith-based protect unrealistic scientism’. Despite the rise in global burden of inflammatory bowel disease, there is a lack safe and effective therapies that can meet needs clinical patients. In this study, we investigated beneficial effects bovine milk, especially colostrum-derived exosomes (Col-exo) murine model ulcerative colitis induced by dextran sodium sulfate (DSS). Col-exo activated proliferation colonic epithelial cells macrophages, created an environment to relieve inflammation effectively removing reactive oxygen species regulating expression immune cytokines. Besides, could pass through gastrointestinal tract intact efficiently deliver bioactive cargoes stomach, small intestine, colon. Our results showed oral gavage alleviate symptoms including weight loss, bleeding, chronic diarrhea modulating intestinal responses. Overall, with excellent structural functional stability may offer great potential as natural therapeutics for recovery colitis.

Mammalian colostrum, known as "liquid gold," is considered a valuable source of essential nutrients, growth factors, probiotics, prebiotics, antibodies, and other bioactive compounds. Precisely for this reason, bovine colostrum (BC) an emerging ingredient the feed, food, pharmaceutical industries, being nowadays commercially available in variety forms several countries. Moreover, quite large number functional foods supplements athletes, human medicines, pet nutrition plans, complementary feed some livestock categories, such piglets calves, contain BC. The amount BC yielded by cow after calving represents approximately 0.5% yearly output dairy breeds. For its nutritional properties low availability, characterized greater market value increasing demand compared with by-products sector. However, information regarding size food well future developments perspectives, scarcely scientific literature. This lack can be attributed to industrial secrecy relatively small scale business when products, which makes limited, specific, intended restricted audience. From legal perspective, regulations assign family milk-derived powders; thus, collecting specific production data, import-export trend information, not straightforward result unprecise estimates. Given that interest different fields, it important have overview steps pros cons ingredient. present narrative review discloses why has started product rather than by-product industry. document aims summarize existing methodologies used assess quality terms immunoglobulin concentration, applications industry, processing technologies. Extreme temperature during summer may lead to heat stress in cattle and compromise their productivity. It also poses detrimental impacts on the developmental capacity of bovine budding oocytes, which halt fertility. To mitigate adverse effects stress, it is necessary investigate mechanisms through affects oocytes. The primary goal this study was impact epigenetic modifications oocytes embryos, as well oocyte capacity, reactive oxygen species, mitochondrial membrane potential, apoptosis, transzonal projections, gene expression levels. Our results showed that significantly reduced levels from histone H1, H2A, H2B, H4, DNA methylation, hydroxymethylation at all stages embryo. Similarly, cleavage rate, blastocyst mitochondrial-membrane potential level, adenosine-triphosphate (ATP) copy number, projection level. found affected distribution increased apoptosis autophagy findings suggest genes related ability, cytoskeleton, function, modification, lowering competence season.

Background: Colostrum, abundant in immunoglobulins and growth factors, plays a vital role supporting immunity. Both yak buffalo milk are characterized by their high protein fat content. However, the metabolomic profiles of colostrum (YC), (BC), bovine (CC) remain largely unexplored. The objective this study is to identify unique metabolites that may impact nutritional value colostrum. Methods: This employed ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-ESI-MS/MS) for untargeted metabolomics analysis YC, BC, CC. Results: revealed 97, 70, 75 differentially expressed YC-CC, BC-CC, YC-BC comparisons, respectively. In comparison CC, both YC BC shared common features, including reduced choline levels elevated O-acetylcarnitine. Moreover, such as 2-hydroxy-6-pentadecylbenzoic acid, DL-glycerol-1-phosphate, thiamine, L-carnitine, methyl β-D-galactoside, uridine diphosphate (UDP) were identified potential biomarkers while 21-deoxycortisol, D-synephrine, uridine, mannitol-1-phosphate, nonadecanoic perillic acid specific BC. Conclusions: has greater advantages energy supply, antioxidant activity, immune regulation, cell homeostasis, holds significance physical development balance regulation. These findings provide valuable insights, enabling selection bioactive develop targeted functional foods from colostrum, catering diverse needs.

Numerous bioactive substances found BC, including proteins, enzymes, growth factors, immunoglobulins, etc., are beneficial to human health. BC has a significant role play as part of healthy diet, with well-documented health and nutritional advantages for people. Therefore, use its crucial derivatives development functional food pharmaceuticals prevention several diseases such gastrointestinal respiratory system disorders becoming increasingly popular around world. A novel coronavirus severe acute syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was identified cause cluster pneumonia cases that called Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) China. Bovine colostrum provides newborn calves with strong passive immunity, which will further affect the immunity of their offspring. Compared other commercial dairy products, bovine emphasizes limit aflatoxin M1, pathogenic bacteria, microorganisms, antibiotics, stimulants, and items, so it is safe to use. There are many reports that use as a breast milk fortifier for preterm infants necessary immune support premature infants, but selection products chosen must be free Bacillus cereus because they very dangerous infants.
