This review discusses the pathophysiology of diabetes in pregnancy relation to placental function. We potential use hydroxychloroquine improving outcomes affected by diabetes. The focuses on mechanism action and its effects There are several pathways which mediates effects: through inflammasome complex, inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress, modulatory effects, antihyperglycemic effects. As a safe drug be used pregnancy, it is worth exploring possible as an adjunct treatment current therapy pregnancy.

Osteoarthritis (OA) ranks among the most prevalent inflammatory diseases affecting musculoskeletal system and is a leading cause of disability globally, impacting approximately 250 million individuals. This study aimed to assess relationship between severity knee osteoarthritis (KOA) body composition in postmenopausal women using bioimpedance analysis (BIA). The included 58 females who were candidates for total arthroplasty. control group consisted 25 individuals with no degenerative joint changes. anthropometric encompassed mass index (BMI), mid-arm mid-thigh circumferences (MAC MTC), triceps skinfold thickness (TSF). Functional performance was evaluated 30 s sit-to-stand test. During BIA test, electrical parameters such as membrane potential, resistance, capacitive reactance, impedance, phase angle measured. Additionally, parameters, including Total Body Water (TBW), Extracellular (ECW), Intracellular (ICW), Cellular Mass (BCM), (ECM), Fat-Free (FFM), Fat (FM), examined. did not find any statistically significant differences (0–1 grade on K–L scale) groups (3–4 scale). However, observed BMI, fat arm circumference, thickness, test results analyzed groups. In conclusion, association overweight obesity KOA appears be primarily related level adipose tissue its metabolic activity.

Purpose: Obese post-menopausal women commonly develop insulin resistance due to a lack of estrogen hormone during menopause. Central abdominal fat and its related cardiovascular diseases are the consequences resistance. So, it represents significant medical socioeconomic issue impacting women’s health quality life. To determine effect radiofrequency in treatment obese women. Material Methods: Fifty-two who were diagnosed with obesity, whose age ranged from 48 60 years old, participated this study. They recruited El- Khalil Ebrahem Hospital Hadaek El Maadi, Cairo. The patients assigned randomly into two groups equal number (A & B). Group (A), 26 treated (twice/week/4 months), regular diet habits, standard care for resistance, while (B), habits Outcome measures, HOMA-IR thickness assessed prior after four-month duration both groups. Results: There was statistical improvement (insulin resistance) within B) (p < 0.05). Post-treatment comparison revealed better favor group A than B 0.001) respectively. Conclusion: Adding selected physical therapy program has improved decreased

Introduction Diabetes is a chronic and concerning health condition that poses significant public challenge. Given preventing, detecting early, treating T2DM can enhance outcomes, the objective of this study was to identify most effective obesity indices determine their optimal cut-off points for predicting risk in an Iranian population. Methods This conducted on 8,019 male female participants aged between 35 70 years context Shahedieh cohort study. The ROC curve analysis utilized point each anthropometric index predict diabetes age-sex categories. Results overall incidence population 2.5%, with 2.5% men 2.4% women. In men, differences were observed diabetic individuals healthy counterparts. found women 45–65, BMI weight, under 65 years, WHR, BMI, WC, WHTR, AVI, BRI are efficient predictors. AUC these varied from 0.593 (95% CI: 0.510–0.676) 0.668 0.586–0.750) 0.587 0.510–0.664) 0.644 0.535–0.754) Conclusion Anthropometric body roundness simple, inexpensive, noninvasive means markers diabetes. Our findings show studied had acceptable prediction power except elderly. For over 45 old, weight appropriate It seems approach reducing through early detection primary prevention achievable.
