Rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), and psoriatic (PsA) are chronic autoimmune disorders characterized by persistent inflammation oxidative stress, leading to joint damage reduced quality of life. In recent years, increasing attention has been given diet a modifiable environmental factor that can complement pharmacological therapy. This review summarizes current evidence on how key dietary components—such omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, polyphenols, antioxidant vitamins—affect inflammatory pathways balance. Special emphasis is placed the Mediterranean diet, low-starch diets, hypocaloric regimens, which have shown potential in improving disease activity. The gut microbiota emerges critical mediator between immune function, with interventions capable restoring eubiosis strengthening intestinal barrier. Additionally, this paper discusses challenges clinical implementation therapy, need for personalized nutritional strategies, importance integrating into holistic patient care. Collectively, findings suggest may reduce activity, mitigate systemic inflammation, enhance patients’ overall well-being.

Abstract Background Many effective therapies for psoriasis are being applied in clinical practice recent years, however, some patients still can’t achieve satisfied effect even with biologics. Therefore, it is crucial to identify factors associated the treatment efficacy among patients. This study aims explore influencing of based on decision tree model and logistic regression. Methods We implemented an observational recruited 512 Shanghai Skin Diseases Hospital from 2021 2022. used face-to-face questionnaire interview physical examination collect data. Influencing were analyzed by using regression, CART algorithm. The receiver operator curve (ROC) was plotted evaluation statistical significance set at P < 0.05. Results predominately males (72.1%), a median age 47.5 years. In this study, 245 achieved ≥ 75% improvement area severity index (PASI) score week 8 identified as success (47.9%). Logistic regression analysis showed that senior high school above, without family history, tobacco smoking alcohol drinking had higher percentage psoriasis. final contained four layers total seventeen nodes. Nine classification rules extracted five screened, which indicated most critical variable prediction. Model ROC under (AUC) 0.79 (95%CI: 0.75 ~ 0.83) both (0.80 sensitivity 0.69 specificity) (0.77 0.73 specificity). Conclusion Psoriasis education, smoking, history better efficacy. Decision similar predicting model, but feasibility due nature simple, intuitive, easy understand.

Abstract Background Psoriatic disease (PsD) is closely associated with cardiovascular (CV) disease. The Life’s Essential 8 (LE8) score a new metric to assess CV health (CVH), where higher indicates better CVH. However, the longitudinal association between LE8 and risk of PsD remains uncertain. Objectives To investigate, in cohort study, score, genetic susceptibility PsD. Methods This study included 261 642 participants UK Biobank without at baseline. comprises eight indicators: diet, physical activity, nicotine exposure, sleep health, body mass index, blood lipids, glucose pressure. Cox proportional hazard models were used examine participants’ scores, Hazard ratios (HRs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) calculated. Results During an average follow-up 12.3 years, 1501 developed Compared low HRs developing for those moderate high scores 0.51 (95% CI 0.43–0.59) 0.34 0.27–0.42) after adjustments, respectively. Dose–response analysis revealed linear negative continuous (P < 0.001), no evidence nonlinear detected. Genetic did not modify this (Pinteraction = 0.63). Subgroup analyses that women had more pronounced beneficial 0.02). Conclusions Our suggests regardless risk, lower PsD, particularly women. Consequently, maintaining good CVH status recommended prevent risks.

The current study aimed to assess the impact of an intervention program based on aerobic training reduce fatigue PsO PsA. A total 118 male volunteered interventional were randomly allocated experimental (n = 59) or control group 59). consisted a 16-week treadmill, three sessions per week, consisting warm-up, 35-50 min treadmill exercise (increasing 5 min/4 weeks) at work intensity 50-65% peak heart-rate 5%/4 weeks), cooling-down. functional assessment chronic illness therapy scale (FACIT-Fatigue), health questionnaire disability index (HAQ-DI), visual analog (VAS) compared pre post intervention. Nutritional intake, maximal power, lipid profile, serum markers muscle damage, body composition assessed. When baseline, FACIT-Fatigue, HAQ-DI, VAS scores significantly improved increasing damage. Fat mass percentage, oxygen consumption improved. In conclusion, moderate was safe, well tolerated, effective psoriatic Long-term follow-up studies required examine whether these promising results may improve clinical outcomes.
