Abstract Stroke is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, dietary patterns have emerged as significant modifiable factor in stroke prevention. The Mediterranean diet, characterized by high intake fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, olive oil, fish, has been widely recognized for its cardiovascular benefits. However, specific impact on risk requires further elucidation. We conducted comprehensive meta-analysis 30 studies, including both cohort case–control designs, to evaluate the relationship between adherence diet stroke. A systematic search was performed across multiple databases, random-effects model used estimate pooled hazard ratios (HRs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Objective: This study aimed investigate sample adolescents from Spain. Methods: Data were acquired 2021–2022 school years aged 12–17 enrolled different secondary schools Valle de Ricote, Region Murcia, security was assessed via Spanish Child Security Survey Module (CFSSM-S), Diet Quality Index Children Adolescents (KIDMED). A total 836 participants involved, statistical analyses conducted linear regression models adjusted lifestyle, anthropometric, sociodemographic covariates. Results: After adjusting potential confounders, mean KIDMED score 7.0 (95% confidence interval [CI] 6.7 7.2) food-security group, 6.8 CI 6.3 7.3) low-security 5.9 4.9 6.9) very-low-security group.
