Abstract Periodontitis, a widespread inflammatory disease, is the major cause of tooth loss in adults. While mechanical periodontal therapy benefits disease treatment, adjunctive also necessary. Topically applied anti-inflammatory agents have gained considerable attention periodontitis therapy. Although azithromycin (AZM) possesses excellent properties, its bioavailability limited owing to poor water solubility and absence sustained release mechanisms. Herein, we synthesized biodegradable microspheres (AZM@PLGA-SF) for AZM locally ameliorate inflammation facilitate tissue regeneration. was encapsulated poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) (AZM@PLGA) using single emulsion-solvent evaporation, followed by surface coating with silk fibroin (SF) via electrostatic adsorption, reducing initial burst AZM. In vivo, local treatment AZM@PLGA-SF significantly reduced restored healthy levels. Mechanically, formulated regulated microenvironment levels pro-inflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor -α, interleukin [IL]-6, interferon-γ, IL-2, IL-17A) gingival crevicular fluid promoted expression (IL-4 IL-10). demonstrated biological safety. Therefore, introduce an substantial potential mitigating encouraging repair regeneration tissues.

Animal venom and plant extracts have been used since ancient times in traditional medicine worldwide. Natural components, valued for their safety effectiveness, consistently cosmetic pharmaceutical applications. We propose a journey along the boulevard of active compounds from natural sources, where bee (BV), cobra (CV), Ficus carica reveal individual therapeutic properties. The originality this review lies exploring synergy these bioactive an approach that has not presented literature. Although BV, CV, different origins compositions, they multiple common pharmacological actions, which make them ideal inclusion various products can be skin care health general. Their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, antimicrobial, neuroprotective, regenerative properties give essential role creation potential innovative effective cosmetics industry. many antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties, was chosen due to its complex biochemical composition, provides valuable benefits regeneration protection against oxidative stress. According International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI), is form extract fruits, leaves, juice, bark or stem, each having specific applicability topical formulations; diversity compounds, it amplify effectiveness BV helping enhance beneficial effects reducing risk adverse effects, well-tolerated nature.
