In this study, new adsorbents were prepared by modifying a montmorillonite clay (Mt) with cethyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) to form CTAB-Mt, followed second modification process polyaniline (PAni) PAni@CTAB-Mt in situ polymerization of aniline. X-ray diffraction (XRD), fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF), photoelectron (XPS), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cyclic voltammetry (CV) and the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) technique used characterize samples. These batch remove methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solution. Factors investigated included initial pH solution, contact time temperature. The adsorption data fit Freundlich isotherm better than Langmuir Temkin isotherms. maximum capacities (qeq) obtained 108.82 mg·g−1, 71.20 mg·g−1 57.36 for PAni@CTAB-Mt, CTAB-Mt Mt, respectively. enhanced capability hybrid material is due increase surface area pore volume adsorbent. results found well pseudo-second-order kinetics model, highest correlation coefficient (R2) values 0.954, 0.942 0.958 adsorbents, temperature had significant effect on process, negative ΔG suggest that was spontaneous feasible. desorption reusability experiment indicated has potential be reusable adsorbent MB removal.

Towering up of heavy metal (HMs) contamination in varied natural ecosystems sensitize the scientific community to think its remediation preferably with biosorbing components. With ease growth along little requirement for sustenance, cyanobacterial members (living and non- living biomass) have been considered as one suitable alternative purpose recent years. Presence proton active functional groups cell wall polymeric substances exo-polysaccharidic (EPS) layer make them competent enough adsorb absorb positively charged ions. The ions, once incorporated are transported into cytoplasm dispersed therein whereas, HMs being adsorbed directly from substratum when treated nonliving biomass. Such mechanisms could be now visualized help kinetic models. In literature, mistakes and inconsistencies in evaluation of the adsorption equilibrium, kinetics, thermodynamics pollutants removal often exist. Here, we review these propose a standardized methodology, with focus on polyaniline (PANI)-based adsorbents to correctly determine equilibrium data, kinetic rates, time, capacity. Removal aqueous by PANI-based through well-designed experiments predominantly involves monolayer chemisorption. The nature adsorption, whether heterogeneous or homogeneous, is contingent upon morphological characteristics distribution functional groups adsorbents. literature reflects multitude complexities implementation subsequent analysis results. Researchers have attempted address complexities, yet variations findings remain due diverse experimental conditions applied. This study critically examines existing methodologies their develop distinctive approach for rational design, meticulous sampling, accurate calculations. Controversial descriptions regarding kinetics are scrutinized scientifically reasonable presented. Finally, main steps determining mechanisms via physiochemical studies recommended. contributes insightful perspectives field offering more robust methodology conduct interpret results, thereby enhancing reliability comparability adsorption.

This study utilized the exceptional optical and electrical properties of polypyrrole (Ppy) to fabricate high-performance optoelectronic devices. The synthesis porous-spherical Cr2O3-Cr(OH)3-Ppy/Ppy nanocomposite thin film was achieved by preparing a second Cr2O3-Cr(OH)3-Ppy on initial Ppy using K2Cr2O7 as an oxidant. nanocomposite’s were thoroughly characterized, including XRD absorbance analyses. analysis showed that crystalline size 20 nm, while demonstrated had higher in wide range compared nanomaterials, evidenced enhancement bandgap (Eg) value from 3.33 eV for 1.89 Cr2O3-Cr(OH)3-Ppy. fabricated exhibited excellent light-sensing behavior, evaluation Jph values under different light conditions various monochromatic lights with detectivity (D) 3.6 × 106 Jones (at 340 nm). device its potential solar cell, short circuit current (JSC) 13 µA open voltage (VOC) 1.91 V.
