This paper explores the potential of smart crop management based on incorporation tools like digital agriculture, which considers current technological applied in such as Internet Things (IoT), remote sensing, and artificial intelligence (AI), to improve production efficiency sustainability. is essential context varying climatic conditions that affect availability resources for agriculture. The integration IoT sensor networks can allow farmers obtain real-time data their crops, assessing key health factors, soil conditions, plant water status, presence pests, environmental among others, finally result data-based decision-making optimize irrigation, fertilization, pest control. Also, this be enhanced by incorporating drones unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), increase monitoring capabilities through comprehensive field surveys high-precision growth tracking. On other hand, big analytics AI are crucial analyzing extensive datasets uncover patterns trends provide valuable insights improving agricultural practices. highlights advancements applications management, addressing challenges barriers global adoption these new types technologies emphasizing need ongoing research collaboration achieve sustainable efficient production.

The ground surface and subsurface of green parks in arid desert areas may be subjected to desiccation as a result weather hot temperatures. It is not wise wait until plants are turning pale yellow before watering resumed. Given the scarcity water typical zones, we recommend full control irrigation water. This study presents method recycling using 5TE sensors, employing time-domain reflectometry (TDR) technology. A trial test section was constructed along coast eastern province Saudi Arabia. Water involves clay–sand liners placed below top agricultural soils intercept excess direct it towards collection tank, then pumped out major supply tank. main properties normally taken into account include moisture content, density, hydraulic conductivity. An assessment geotechnical mixtures containing 20% clay content conducted. profiles temperature changes were monitored sensors data loggers. provided continuous measurements at varying temperatures cycles. Twenty-nine cycles conducted over six-month period. additional considered with liner consisting same but enhanced bentonite one-third content. volumetric found vary from 0.150 0.565 following changing results indicated that use TDR instrumentation cost-effective time-saving technique construct system for saving

The application of edible coatings for preparing composite antibacterial spray fruit preservation by incorporating nanoparticles has gained increasing attention. Chitosan (CS) is a natural polysaccharide used as an coating to preserve fruit; it properties such reducing water loss, enhancing appearance, and improving mechanical . By combining with material, can reduce microorganisms. Cerium (Ce) excellent activity combined the advantages safety low cost. Therefore, this study proposes biocatalytic using CS metal–organic framework (CS@Ce-MOF) strawberry model fruit. CS@Ce-MOFs are superior Ce-MOFs in aqueous stability their chemical structure, inoxidizability, duration, validity. well-characterized CS@Ce-MOF was verified simultaneously mimic good oxidase- apyrase-like activities. demonstrated against two common foodborne pathogens: Escherichia coli Gram-positive bacterium Staphylococcus aureus , high killing rates up 94.5%. This due unique structure composite, which presents large surface area contact pathogens enhances catalytic incorporated cerium oxide nanoparticles, leading efficient sterilization. Furthermore, scavenging rate DPPH ABTS free radicals more than 80%, indicating that antioxidant properties. Moreover, minimized weight loss firmness strawberries bananas over 7 days ambient storage. use enormous potential preserving quality fresh produce, food waste, promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

With the increasing focus on irrigation management, it is crucial to consider cost-effective alternatives for soil water monitoring, such as multi-point monitoring with low-cost moisture sensors. This study assesses accuracy and functionality of sensors in a sandy loam (SL) amended biochar at rates 15.6 31.2 tons/ha by calibrating presence two nitrogen (N) potassium (K) commercial fertilizers three salinity levels (non/slightly/moderately) six contents. Sensors were calibrated across nine SL-soil combinations N K fertilizers, counting 21 treatments. The best fit content calibration was obtained using polynomial equations, demonstrating reliability R2 values greater than 0.98 each case. After second calibration, provide acceptable results concerning previous especially non- slightly saline treatments lower 0.17 cm
