Despite the public health benefits of cycling in general population, mental issues may be evident high-performance and elite-level competitive domains. With prominent riders disclosing their experiences with psychiatric symptoms, distinctive socioenvironmental factors could exacerbate psychopathological vulnerabilities. This suggests a need for greater awareness amongst stakeholders, supplemented by actions from international national federations regulators. To synthesise relevant observations about concerns cycling, we conducted keyword search articles APA PsycINFO, PubMed, Scopus based on specified exclusion criteria. Thirteen papers were identified that examined and/or per classifications World Health Organization's International Classification Diseases 11th Revision. A large proportion illustrated eating disorder symptomatology, but others discussed attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety depression, sleep wake disorders, substance use disorder. The aim of this study is to translate, cross-culturally adapt, and validate the Croatian Athlete Psychological Strain Questionnaire (APSQ-Cro) as part Sport Mental Health Assessment Tool 1 (SMHAT-1) validation. However, these activities may encompass more complex characteristics and demands that do not correspond to scientifically validated correlations between physical activity improved health.
