This study examines the relationship between equity of public green space and urban expansion/sprawl under high-speed urbanization. Equity indicates degree to which spaces are distributed spatially in an equal way, with regard spatial variation residents’ “need” for space. In emerging economies such as China, especially developing or underdeveloped cities Wuhan, central rapid growth challenges capacity state provide infrastructure services its urbanites equally. order research industrial development background urbanization, use quantitative methods more accurately measure inequality is essential. this study, accessibility Wuhan examined based on two-step floating catchment area method (2SFCA) at multilevel radius; 2013 2016 acquired, link changes expansion discussed. It found that takes precedence over With vigorous development, land attracts increasing population, resulting drastic decline service spaces, not conducive long-term city.

The commute of residents in a big city often brings tidal traffic pressure or congestions. Understanding the causes behind this phenomenon is great significance for urban space optimization. Various spatial data make fine description residents’ travel behaviors possible, and bring new approaches to related studies. present study focuses on two aspects: one obtain relatively accurate features commuting by using mobile phone data, other simulate through agent-based model inducing backward congestion. Taking Baishazhou area Wuhan, local mega China, as case study, we simulated commuters: context set up existing road network dividing into units. Then, call detail records month, statistics during four time slots working day mornings are acquired then used generate Origin-Destination matrix travels at different slots, imported simulation. Under preset rules congestion, can effectively conditions each intersection, induce congestion simulation results matrix. Finally, evaluation optimization, which shows evident effects optimizing measures adopted relieving thus also proves value method

In the past decade, architecture, engineering, and construction industry has witnessed increasing growth in green building market continues to expect a promising future. Although companies have played significant role developing market, scarce studies analyzed changes from perspectives of these corporations. Also, few classify by characteristics. To fill gaps knowledge, we explored characteristics US corporate perspective, specifically investigating contractors design firms. We first collected data 464 top identified Engineering News-Record over decade development trend based on revenue generated companies. found that general could be divided into three stages: rapid-growth stage (2000–2008), steady-growth (2009–2013), maturity transformation (2014–2016). then categorized organizations groups with distinct k-means cluster analysis techniques, including mature companies, sector-oriented primary-stage This study provides academic practitioner communities holistic understanding view burgeoning Corporate-level management systems sustainable practices clusters also provide guidance for various stages towards sustainability adopt different strategies.

River corridors, acknowledged as "blue-green infrastructure," have gained increasing attention due to their potential benefits on individual quality of life and social well-being in urban areas. However, there remains a lack comprehensive synthesis evidence through systematic literature review the usage associated constraints river corridors. The paper aims systematically those attributes that influence corridors analyse complex interactions from socio-ecological perspective. Results comprise an overview reviewed literature, including authorship, journal, geographical distribution, sample characteristics, data collection analysis methods, critical findings. Fifty-nine peer-reviewed papers published between 2012 2023 met authors' inclusion criteria. findings highlight significant individual, social, physical factors Additionally, time reason also impact users' decisions regarding Finally, conceptual framework was proposed guide planners, designers, policymakers enhancing corridors' design management standards, ultimately creating sustainable, resilient, inclusive leisure space catering diverse needs.

The measurement of spatial accessibility fire services is a key task in enhancing response efficiency and minimizing property losses deaths. Recently, the two-step floating catchment area method its modified versions have been widely applied. However, circle areas used these methods are not suitable for measuring because each station often responsible incidents within coverage. Meanwhile, most existing take demographic data their centroids residential as demands locations, respectively, which makes it difficult to reflect actual locations services. Thus, this paper proposes fixed-coverage-based (FC2SFCA) that takes fixed service coverage stations dispatched engines historical demand location size, measure Using case study Nanjing, China, proposed FC2SFCA enhanced (E2SFCA) employed compare stations. results show (1) across China unbalanced, with relatively high around southwest northeast at city center low periphery boundary core center; (2) compared E2SFCA, less influenced by other provides greater accessibility; (3) more strongly affected number than firefighting capabilities, coverage, or average crossroads (per kilometer). Suggestions then made improve overall access
