Organisational culture factors strict work schedules pressure to maintain productivity often impede the effectiveness programmes reduce these risks. Despite its significance, organisational is overlooked during development implementation workplace due conceptually complex nature. The COVID-19 pandemic further complicated culture-related associations in contact centres. This study investigated how influences existence centres if/how disrupted associations. Objective Working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic has affected many workers' daily life and possibly their physical activity behavior. We studied longitudinal association of working with sedentary Methods Longitudinal data 17 questionnaire rounds Lifelines cohort (March 2020–February 2021) were used. In total, 33 325 workers included. every round, participants reported current work situation: location, home, or hybrid (working on location home). Physical levels behavior before asked. Logistic generalized estimating equations adjusted for demographic/work/health covariates used to study situation Results Home less likely meet recommended ≥150 minutes/week moderate-to-vigorous-intensity than [odds ratio (OR) 0.93, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.90–0.96] more be physically active (OR 1.09, CI 1.04–1.14). Furthermore, compared workers, (sitting ≥8 hours/day) workdays 1.51, 1.39–1.64/1.36–1.68, respectively). Conclusions Compared (and a lesser extent workers) often inactive pandemic. Background Post-exertional malaise (PEM) is a complex phenomenon characterized by extreme fatigue, reduced endurance, and muscular joint pains. Physical activity (PA) has recognized health benefits, including reducing the risks of chronic diseases mortality. During pandemic, general decline in PA was measured, but profile various components sedentariness patients with PEM resulting from post-COVID-19 syndrome (PCS-19) remains scarce. It relevant to observe impact these discomforts on PQ after their occurrence. Objective This study examines detailed sedentary individuals affected associated PCS-19. Methods An online questionnaire disseminated via social media platform evaluated before COVID-19 diagnostic. Results Individuals (n = 154) became more inactive post-COVID-19. Specifically, at work decreased women those whose last infection occurred over year ago. Walk for increased men. Bike journeys generally COVID-19. The severity PEM, pace recovery, fear influenced changes. Conclusions PCS-19 leads behavior PA, particularly work, pronounced among severely PEM. These findings are critical post-COVID resumption, workers who go back regain normal duties while being potentially deconditioned.
