Abstract Recent years have seen growing interest in the use of concepts ecosystem services ecological security assessments. This study analyzed temporal-spatial changes land use/cover Lavasanat watershed, Tehran, Iran, between 2000 and 2040 under different land-use change scenarios, assessed consequent terms (water yield) climate scenarios. First, LULC map watershed for 20 year period 2020 was generated. Then, area’s from to were predicted based on assumption continuation current conditions, which named Scenario S1. The land use and cover change (LUCC) associated with climate human activities poses a persistent threat to ecosystems, profoundly impacting ecological security. Simulating spatiotemporal changes in ecosystem service values (ESVs) security patterns (ESPs) under different future scenarios is crucial for formulating sustainable development policies. This study introduces comprehensive framework multi-scenario analysis, which combines the system dynamics (SD) model, patch-generated land-use simulation (PLUS) minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) model simulate ESV ESP LUCC using SSP-RCP provided by CMIP6. results show that three (SSP245, SSP585, SSP126), year 2050 predicted be 10.285 billion yuan, 10.248 10.327 respectively. Optimization of ecological security patterns (ESP) is an important way to implement land space restoration and maintain regional sustainable development. Serious ecological crises have emerged in the Asian Water Tower region (17 countries centered on Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau), making it a major priority and challenge for even global conservation efforts. Production-living-ecological space (PLES) constitutes territorial space, and how to scientifically optimize PLES has become the core issue of spatial planning in China. Rapid urbanization and human activities enhanced threats to the degradation of various ecosystem services in modern urban agglomerations. This study explored response service values (ESVs) land use changes trade-offs among ESVs agglomerations under different future development scenarios.
