With increased global commerce, businesses must manage their supply chains while taking into account not only costs but also environmental implications. The decision-making of Green Supplier Selection (GSS) is a strategic priority for companies to survive in challenging market conditions and effectively sustainably the increasingly polluted resource-depleted world. Environmental sustainability can be enhanced with appropriate criteria when choosing green suppliers. Based on these motivations, it necessary determine correct criteria, classify chosen employ an effective evaluation method GSS process. In particular, evaluating each criterion at its own level importance. this paper, model, handled by group decision-making, constructed multi-sub-criteria increase competitive advantage purpose ensuring sustainable future. A novel hybrid methodology Interval Type-2 Fuzzy (IT2F) Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) IT2F Technique Order Preference Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) presented model deal uncertainty. This study provides decision-makers that performs fuzzy calculations all steps until solution found, especially areas may have complex hierarchical structure, such as automotive industry. proposed method, unlike most studies literature, if has sub-criteria (or multi-sub-criteria) hierarchy considered, evaluated other level, without need multi-sub-criteria). effectiveness been demonstrated testing application taken from industry complex-structured multi-level hierarchy. District heating and cooling (DHC) an important part of a decarbonized system, its role been stressed by EU. In this paper, DHC is, for first time, reviewed assuming NEB principles. (2) Method: literature review combined with three cases was used collecting data. (3) Results: It confirmed that strong sustainability values. also identified can become increasingly inclusive adopting updated digital platforms new technologies heat recovery necessitate close customer interaction whilst recovering waste heat. The least exploited principle aesthetics. could sharpen city planning combining system efficiency perspectives, increase practice multifunctional buildings (for example provision recreation), foster closer interplay between architecture energy. (4) Conclusions: both innovating expanding DHC, principles serve as catalysts.
