Social progress and the improvement of living standards are often accompanied by intensification ecological crises. The long-term abuse natural resources has led to accumulation liabilities, which in turn seriously hinders economic development. This prompted all sectors society recognize importance carrying capacity (ECC) security (ES). Remarkable been made karst desertification control (KDC), helped reshape ECC ES pattern forests. Currently, research field is experiencing rapid Further studies these areas have immeasurable value promoting regional sustainable development strategies strengthening civilization construction. objective this paper provide an overview current status potential challenges ES, with a view optimizing program forest restoration protection KDC. study systematically analyzed 350 relevant found that (1) on shown strong growth trend overall, especially after 2017, rate exceeding 75%; (2) literature predominantly focuses assessment (40.58%) enhancement (23.42%); (3) geographically, findings heavily concentrated Asia, representing 95.40% total. Notably, China emerges as primary contributor field, accounting for substantial 94.12%. Based above analysis, review summarizes significant advancements ecosystems, ECC, while also delving into key scientific issues need be addressed. Furthermore, it offers valuable insights from ecosystems tackling KDC, goal offering guidance strategic recommendations future practices managing delicate environments.

Forest ecological security is related to national security. Yunnan Province has a significantly stereoscopic climate characterized by diverse and complex vegetation. Therefore, the of Province’s forests, which span multiple zones, must be carefully considered. The purpose this study evaluate forest situation influencing factors in 2017. Utilizing data from remote sensing, Yearbooks, socioeconomic statistical data, better pressure-state-response modeling, work produced an index system containing state societal pressure. evaluation indicators were weighted using combination entropy weighting expert weighting, 16 prefectures as samples. Using fuzzy matter-element technique, 2017 was assessed, contributing causes examined. Results indicate that there are spatial distribution differences various regions Province. with greatest indices found Xishuangbanna south Nujiang Diqing northwest Province, while those areas lowest distributed Qujing Zhaotong northeast Baoshan west. grey relation analysis show influence across different showed significant diversity. In main include days when air quality reaches Level 2 or higher, percentage natural acreage accumulation, value service function per unit area, annual average temperature, coverage. status greater than pressure index. findings can guide decisions regional construction zones. view regions, environment governance should adapted local conditions ensure coordinated development nature, economy, environment.

Forest ecological security is an important guarantee for national and the healthy development of forestry. Existing research has been limited to comprehensive evaluation obstruction factors forest security, this study innovatively analyzes internal coordination its spatial influencing in order enhance ecosystem promote coordinated improvement regional security. Firstly, China from 2006 2020 was evaluated. On basis, coupling degree (FESD) calculated, spillover effects were analyzed using econometric model. The results show that: (1) most China’s provincial at a critical relatively safe level, shows trend gradual improvement; (2) FESD 25 provinces, represented by Guangxi, acceptable range constantly improving; (3) annual mean temperature, urbanization rate, completed forestry investment, pest control have positive influences on FESD. population density, per capita GDP, investment environmental governance significant negative influences. In addition, Therefore, process management, it necessary further strengthen investments control, pay more attention interaction between regions.

In the new era, coordinating relationship between population flow and forestry ecological security has become an important challenge. this study, we take Heilongjiang Province in China as example, through combination of macro data micro in-depth interviews, explore whether mobility really affects intrinsic mechanism from perspective exodus forest areas. Based on DPSIR model, constructed a evaluation index system, used TOPSIS multi-objective decision analysis method to quantify status 2000 2022, utilized impulse response function VAR model dynamic outflow security. The results study show that, firstly, comprehensive level exhibits fluctuating upward trend 2022. Second, lagged effect outflow, almost no at present. Third, while Luobei County reduces interference human activities natural environment, it also brings about pressures insufficient resource management personnel. Dongfanghong Forestry Bureau effectively improved efficiency construction introduction digitalized intelligent equipment, which compensated for negative impact reduction These findings will help realize coordinated development population, economy society, ecology.

Environmental pollution has led to many ecological issues, including air, water, and soil contamination. Developing appropriate control measures mitigate these hazards protect our environment is critical. In that respect, we developed a mathematical model study the evolution of ecosystems containing food chains under environmental pollution. We integrate into three-species chain model, which includes prey population, an intermediate predator apex population. The equilibrium points are obtained analyze their stability. Numerical simulations carried out explore dynamics model. simulation results show presents complex, chaotic, dynamic behaviors. Our demonstrates interactions individual populations in effects can result complex dynamics. investigation provides insights polluted environment. research shows disturb nature, leading chaotic effects. Reducing restore orderly state. will harm healthy development each species ecosystem. restoring species’ habitats effective strategies for Natural often by domestic industrial sources. protection department should allocate more resources address enhance wastewater treatment methods. Urbanization has led to enormous pressure on the urban ecological environment, especially in coastal cities. It is important evaluate quality of We compared remote sensing-based index (RSEI) and water benefit-based (WBEI) indices Fuzhou City, selected WBEI assess changes environment City from 2000 2020 analyzed relevant land intensity. The results show that (1) outperforms RSEI evaluation study area, since takes into account efficiency can more accurately represent cities; (2) during 2000–2020, overall trend better, with nonsignificant decreasing areas western northern mountainous a significant increasing southeast coast; (3) different use types influence quality, forests man-made surfaces having good correlation WBEI. increase contributes improvement conversion high-intensity arable construction decreases quality.
