Purpose Recognizing the transformative impact of financial technology (Fintech) and mobile wallets (m-wallets) on modern practices, this study aims to explore complex dynamics m-wallet adoption in Bangladesh, focusing user perceptions autonomy. By integrating self-determination theory (SDT) diffusion innovation (DOI) theory, authors propose a model incorporating constructs such as perceived security (PS), trust (PT), compatibility, ease use (EOU), autonomy (PFA), competence (PFC), relative advantage (RA) intention-to-use (IU). Design/methodology/approach This used survey-based methodology gather data from m-wallets users Bangladesh. In survey, 445 individuals participated; 393 those were deemed legitimate chosen for study. Partial least squares-structural equation modeling was investigation. method made sure that relationships between proposed model’s thoroughly examined. Findings The research findings confirm PFC significantly impacts IU PFA. PFA also positively influences IU. PS PT, which further affects EOU RA highlights importance PFC, PS, PT driving m-wallets. Originality/value integrates SDT DOI adoption. It key factors, offering insights practical strategies Fintech stakeholders emerging markets enhance through literacy, measures user-friendly designs.

Purpose This study aims to investigate the moderating impact of environmental knowledge on factors influencing individuals’ continuous intention use e-wallets. Design/methodology/approach Using a quantitative research design, this develops and empirically tests structural model. A purposive sample 344 e-wallet users in Jordan was analyzed using Smart-PLS software. Findings The results indicate that perceived usefulness, subjective norms behavioral control directly influence continue Notably, concern do not have direct intention. However, they act as mediators relationship between Specifically, acts mediator control, Furthermore, moderates norms, significantly impacting users’ Originality/value contributes extended theory planned behavior model within banking sector by emphasizing enhanced explanatory power factors. This study investigated the impact of perceived interactivity on behavioral intention in context virtual conferences post-COVID-19 era. With academic moving exclusively online due to pandemic, there is a gap literature regarding attendees’ attitudes and benefits these events. developed technology acceptance model (TAM) by treating conference as antecedent construct TAM. The moderating role self-congruity mediating effect quality were also studied understand attending future conferences. Using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), sample 327 staff members Lebanon was analyzed. Our found that both positively influenced intentions. Additionally, associated with conferences, further strengthened this relationship. revealed mediates relationship between attend fills examining toward findings provide insights into consumer behavior at can contribute development TAM via an exploration its applicability

In the dynamic digital environment, emergence of wallets like Worldcoin signifies a transformative trend. This study examines factors that influence adoption in Thailand, focusing specifically on wallet. The primary aim is to identify and analyze potential determinants affect user decisions adopt this technology. Employing quantitative research methodology, structured questionnaires were administered 1,430 participants gather data, subsequently subjected binary logistic regression analysis. analysis aimed discern relationship between various independent variables, encompassing social support, presence, trust, perceived risk, service reliability, usefulness, ease use, time saving, convenience, consumption, discount, promotion, dependent variable wallet adoption. findings underscore such as trust positively adoption, emphasizing significance community building establishment. Conversely, risk acts deterrent underscoring imperative addressing security concerns. While reliability usefulness serve catalysts for use does not exhibit similar effect, implying usability issues. Furthermore, economic incentives discounts do yield significant impact suggesting their secondary role motivators. underscores critical importance usability, facilitating broader analogous technologies within Thai context beyond.

Purpose This study aims to identify the significant factors that influence continuation intention (CI) use a digital wallet in regions with low technology infrastructure and among consumers possessing levels of financial literacy. Design/methodology/approach Data for were collected from rural parts South India 295 users. Co-variance-based structural equation modelling (SEM) (CB-SEM) using maximum likelihood estimation method Bayesian SEM (BSEM) approaches executed test independent variables on dependent variable ensure validation proposed hypothetical model. Findings The results showed trust, incentives, satisfaction (TS), facilitating condition, performance expectancy, effort habit hedonic motivation significantly influenced CI wallet. In addition, incentives positively impact Research limitations/implications present is based samples literacy India, which limits generalisation results. Practical implications provide impetus government, marketers users regarding how can be encouraged low-adoption regions. Originality/value remains unique as assessment was conducted (rural India) extending Unified theory acceptance 2 TS. A comparison arrived CB-SEM those BSEM ensures model found another major methodological contribution towards consumer behaviour literature.
