Introduction
The
interplay
between
motor
skills
and
emotions
in
the
brain
represents
a
significant
longstanding
research
question.
Recently,
posturography
has
provided
new
insights
into
this
subject.
Understanding
biological
processes
that
influence
appreciation
of
nature
landscapes
is
also
crucial
concern,
prompting
various
experimental
methods
theoretical
frameworks.
This
aimed
to
propose,
for
first
time,
use
study
different
ways
postural
control
modulated
by
visual
perception
pleasant
scenes.
Methods
A
total
37
participants
(27
females,
10
males;
mean
age
=
24
years
±5
years)
were
shown
images
neutral
landscapes,
while
posturographic
data
collected.
Two
viewing
conditions
employed:
passive
vision
active
vision,
where
instructed
envision
themselves
presented
Results
results
indicated
differential
modulation
response
based
on
valence
factors
(pleasant
vs.
neutral)
mental
simulation
(passive
active).
Notably,
differences
approach-avoidance
behavior
observed
approximately
7
s
after
onset
stimulus
viewing.
