Ecological importance evaluation can clearly identify the ecological service functions and values of a region. This paper takes Yanshan-Taihang Mountain area in Hebei Province as research area, utilizing 2020 land use data. With help various analytical models GIS spatial analysis methods, this selects water conservation, soil biodiversity, carbon sequestration oxygen release to evaluate ecosystem services, loss sensitivity desertification sensitivity, so important areas protection study analyze their change characteristics divide leading according results. The results show that moderately highly region account for more than 70% total area. Based on results, three types dominant function zones were obtained using self-organized feature mapping neural network R language, control measures proposed. provide strategic support local regional restoration, well serving reference optimization development patterns.

Urban modernization and economic globalization have led to significant changes in traditional natural landscapes. The unregulated large-scale expansion of rubber plantations Xishuangbanna has resulted water scenic forests being replaced by the complex rainforest ecosystem simple artificial forests. This increasingly prominent ecological problems such as soil erosion, regional microclimate changes, sharp declines biodiversity. security pattern is an important way protect sustainability. Taking tropical example, this study identified sources through evaluation importance services, constructed resistance surfaces sensitivity evaluation, used circuit theory simulate processes heterogeneous landscapes calculating “electricity” or “resistance”, thereby identifying corridors key nodes. results 31 source areas, 65 corridors, 7 potential 37 pinch points, 99 barriers. overall distribution was scattered, with higher density northwest southeast regions. Ecological were distributed along high mountains, both mainly composed forest land. Based on theory, filled gap MCR model’s inability identify true width due ignoring randomness biological migration. It determined spatial range specific locations nodes barriers, providing a reference for solving Xishuangbanna, “rainforest fragmentation”.

This study focuses on constructing a heritage corridor for traditional villages in the Taihu Lake region, aiming to promote cultural preservation and sustainable development of these through innovative pathway design. Based spatial distribution characteristics across five cities surrounding (Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing) existing transportation network, this research integrates Circuit Effective Conductance (CEC) theory with ArcGIS analysis methods optimize pathways corridor. The results show that expected nearest neighbor distance 307 region is 5245.61 m, actual being 3385.60 z-score −11.85, index 0.645786, indicating exhibit clustered distribution. Combined kernel density results, “dual-core–four zones–multiple scatter points” structure revealed, Dongshan Island Wujiang District serving as primary secondary cores, respectively. By establishing “dual-ring corridor” stable village transmission has been formed, consisting 137 corridors. Meanwhile, CEC model demonstrates high adaptability generating circular corridors, particularly creating closed-loop structures around lake, thereby enhancing connectivity corridors facilitating effective flow resources. Through strategic design outer inner ring successfully links develops optimal travel routes. provides practical solutions protection, revitalization, integration tourism offers new perspective lakefront geographies China.

Under the long-term effect of mineral resource exploitation, especially open-pit mining, ecosystems are severely disturbed. Constructing and optimizing urban ecological networks influenced by mines based on mine–city coordination helps integrate restoration construction environments. We applied an InVEST model to Fushun City evaluate ecosystem services under influence large mines. Twenty-one key patches important for maintaining landscape connectivity were screened as sources in network, from which resistance surfaces constructed combining impacts environment. Minimum cumulative (MCR) gravity models then used extract classify corridors favorable species migration diffusion. had spatial differences service functions, with high-value areas concentrated forest-rich Dongzhou District northern Shuncheng District. capacity region south Hunhe River was poor lacked sources. Urban reached a maximum mining area, 210 estimated using MCR model, 46 important. Only two crossed West East open pit, forming “ecological fracture surfaces.” The eastern districts complex network structures stable In contrast, central southern parts owing pits gangue mountains, simple structures, low connectivities other Combined City’s development plan, we propose that optimization should add new source sites, reconstruct repair corridors, upgrade breakpoints. Resource exploitation and rapid urbanization in coal mining areas with a high groundwater table (CMA-HGT) have created double pressure on regional ecological security increased the vulnerability of environment. Ecological restoration should be carried out to balance relationship between economic development environmental protection. An pattern (ESP) can identify key locations that are critical maintaining ecosystem service stability landscape connectivity, territories displaying relatively identified as priority for restoration. The Jining planning area (JPA), typical representative CMA-HGT, was taken study area. To construct integrated ESP, sources were by measuring importance multiple services connectivity. Then, resistance surface constructed, corridors, pinch points, barriers determined using circuit theory. (EV) evaluation performed from perspectives natural factors human activities. results showed spatial superposition ESP EV effectively sources, points 44.56 km2, 11.7 9.96 respectively, corresponding strategies proposed. Some valuable references provided identification CMA-HGT.
