Abstract Further training opportunities in food and nutrition sustainability are considered to be generally lacking Malta. The main aims of this descriptive pilot study were therefore identify health professionals’ past continuing education (CE) behaviours provide insights for the future development post-qualification subject areas. A cross-sectional design was employed through use an anonymised survey which disseminated online, targeting professionals who currently practicing 84 respondents from various professions returned survey. Most had not received any previous sustainability. Improved knowledge competencies listed as advantages CE, with lack time, or funding, perceived challenges. What factors hinder the reduction of meat and/or dairy intake? In this study, we explored perceived barriers that reducers experienced when shifting their diets. Abstract Aim To explore the perspectives of Kazakhstani healthcare professionals on environmental sustainability in healthcare. Design An exploratory qualitative design. Methods Four focus group discussions (FGDs) were conducted among (nurses, physicians, midwives and physical therapists) from June to August 2023 three cities Kazakhstan. Each FGD consisted at least 6 11 participants lasted between 60 90 minutes. The collected data analysed using thematic analysis. Results A total 137 initial codes identified further organized into 22 sub‐themes based similarities meanings, then 5 significant themes identified. five main are ‘Environmental Sustainability Practices Healthcare’, ‘Purposes Environmental ‘Impact Healthcare Patients’, ‘Challenges Implementing Healthcare’ ‘The Role Leadership Improving Healthcare’. Education, especially development education (DE), and a number of socially focused disciplines, including corporate social responsibility (CSR) marketing (SM), have long been targeted by policy makers for deriving advice on the ‘wisdom’ levelling up differences addressing sources disadvantages at individual, group and/or regional levels. Additionally, combined wisdom such disciplines can also be great source to effectively address perennial universal problems. This paper is conceptual in nature with multidisciplinary outlook. It contrasts DE, CSR SM, view common grounds as well strengths areas further that produce more comprehensive explanations solutions Such inclusive, would help advise social-cause-focused workers, researchers, learners makers, about how each discipline contribute resolution multifaceted problems, so-called ‘wicked problems’, may not fully equipped address.
