The activated carbons (ACs) derived from okara powder waste with high surface areas were modified ammonia aqueous solution impregnation in an autoclave to enhance their CO2 adsorption properties. impregnated ACs characterized, where the chemical composition and properties of analyzed by SEM-EDX FTIR. Activated functionalized (25%) through a hydrothermal process within 24, 48, 72 h. performance onto carbon samples was experimentally evaluated TPD measurement. FTIR spectra confirm N-containing N-modified presence –C=O stretch N-H groups. uptakes are 0.24; 1.78; 2.24; 1.26 mmol/g, which relatively comparable those studied literature.
