The regulation of urban solid waste management services has become increasingly complex, requiring effective performance indicators for monitoring and evaluation. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis to understand how are being used in worldwide. research employed the Web Science database analyze scientific production from 2004 2024, using Biblioshiny 4.1 software data processing analysis. From 779 initially identified documents, 38 studies were selected thoroughly analyzed. results revealed concentration European countries, with Portugal leading (20 publications), followed by Italy (12) Netherlands (7). 99 authors an average 3.26 co-authors per document 26.32% international co-authorship rate. articles averaged 23.4 citations, indicating significant academic impact. A keyword 132 terms, “regulation”, “waste management”, “efficiency” most prominent. bibliographic coupling demonstrated strong connections between efficiency, particularly Portugal’s sunshine model through ERSAR. highlights need standardized regulatory frameworks suggests opportunities increased collaboration developing systems services.

In recent years, procurement managers have introduced environmental considerations into supplier selection and evaluation as a response to strict regulations implemented by governments. Although previous research investigated the of eco-friendly suppliers, little has been conducted on significance wide range criteria used industrial customers. The aim this study was address gap examine difference in perceived importance versus performance achieved using criteria, addition business total supply performance. By investigating manufacturers market environment, aimed demonstrate how their affected suppliers relation such criteria. To accomplish task, an empirical analysis based questionnaire responses 72 purchasing working electrical/electronic heavy chemical industries. Based research, following six factors were identified: eco-friendliness, quality, relationship, flexibility, delivery, price/finance. statistical analyses, including sample t-tests multiple regression analysis, identified correlation between manufacturer findings show that some factors, price, statistically relevant manufacturers, which added value decision-making strategy employed selection.
