This study aims to examine the current state of information security policies and practices in United States banking sector while drawing comparisons global systems. The research specifically addresses risks, benefits, future trends, providing insights for strengthening frameworks worldwide. adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing secondary data sources, including scholarly journals, articles, televised news, online platforms. A systematic review was conducted using databases such as Science Direct, Scopus, Web Science, PubMed, DOAJ, Google Scholar alignment with PRISMA 2020 guidelines. incorporated specific keyword phrases identify relevant literature, additional exclusion criteria applied eliminate incomplete, inconsistent, or non-English publications. final included 125 papers 20 reports. findings highlight that U.S. faces dynamic landscape cybersecurity phishing attacks, ransomware, regulatory non-compliance, insider threats. Despite these robust offer significant rewards, improved customer trust, fraud detection through AI machine learning, financial stability. underscores U.S., particularly like Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act collaboration initiatives CISA FS-ISAC, which enhance preparedness against emerging cyber Comparative analysis systems revealed key challenges, evolving threat landscape, compliance international privacy standards, need cross-border cooperation.
