A comprehensive understanding of the significance vine cultivation and wine production, distribution, consumption in Spain requires a joint consideration its economic, social, environmental implications. To achieve this vision, quantitative research with an exploratory scope is carried out through use secondary data sources. The results reveal that, from economic point view, industry generates total annual gross value added (GVA) more than 23,700 million euros, equivalent to 2.2% national GVA.
