In the Independent curriculum, it is essential to provide students with diverse learning materials that address global concerns like climate change while also aligning personal and cultural dimensions, such as Pancasila Student Profile. This study, conducted at Srijaya Negara High School in Palembang, Indonesia, aimed understand students' needs for virtual drama scripts incorporate both Profile themes. Insights were gathered from 36 tenth-grade students, their English teachers, additional stakeholders through a mixed-methods approach, combining questionnaires semi-structured interviews. The results highlighted demand more specific contextually relevant materials. integration of themes was found enhance motivation learning, particularly inclusion technology. Furthermore, these tailored are believed improve knowledge awareness values Pancasila. research paves way development not only serve reading but support broader educational initiatives high schools.

The present study elaborates on the process of collaborative scriptwriting for drama and implementation virtual platforms theatrical performances. qualitative design approach was used to provide a detailed explanation how performance about Spread Islam in 16th Century by Ratu Bagus Kuning rehearsed recorded. subject 18 graduate school students who took Appreciation Literature Teaching course Graduate School English Education at state university Indonesia. data obtained from observation, interview, documentation were analyzed utilizing thematic process. result reveals two main findings: it emphasizes innovative video presentation educational drama, also shows communication, cooperation, critical thinking, creativity involved writing scripts performing virtually. highlights script writing, focusing Palembang’s heroic tale Kuning. Using university’s LMS dialogues, research, creative collaboration, prepared performance. They paired up draft scenes, actively applying 21st-century skills, such as thinking creativity. Peer feedback revisions improved quality. Despite continuity issues technical constraints, showed resilience adaptability. This study aims to address the needs of students in drama and performances Literature ELT course. Since occurrence a national disaster, namely spread covid-19 virus, output courses form cannot be carried out due Covid-19 pandemic. The solution offered through this research is perform virtual performances. data were obtained use questionnaire. analyzed both quantitatively qualitatively. result need analysis showed that: 1) course was important for students, 2) students’ English proficiency at intermediate level, 3) still had some difficulties performance, 4) topic legend, 5) there integrating with an online application, 6) sometimes learn technology. Due needs, it necessary develop performance application because 55.5% thought that would increase their knowledge understanding learning university. When offering online, can noted adjustments made theater activities education program, Zoom digital platform mostly utilized classes.
