Abstract Objectives This study aimed to identify clinical features of girls referred a pediatric endocrinology clinic for suspected precocious puberty, differentiate true puberty from other variants, evaluate treatment status, and distinguishing factors between patient groups. Methods We retrospectively evaluated the records 275 consecutive aged 0–10 years puberty. Results Among patients, 30 (10.9 %) were diagnosed with 35 (12.7 premature adrenarche, 22 (8 thelarche, 33 (12 rapidly progressing early 108 (39.3 47 (17.1 had normal diagnosis. Precocious was associated higher rates overweight/obesity (p=0.002), advanced bone age (p<0.001), height SD, mid-parental SD difference as well history preterm birth (p=0.041). Patients mothers lower at menarche (p=0.040). No significant differences found being born small gestational age, maternal polycystic ovary syndrome, screen time, junk food consumption (p>0.05). Treatment recommended 32 patients (11.6 %), including 11 21 Conclusions Most pubertal development are or its variants. Assessing birth, helps aiding timely treatment.

Purpose Our study aimed to examine the effects of blue light exposure on prepubertal male rats’ puberty and testis tissue. Methods Eighteen 21-day-old Sprague Dawley rats were divided into three groups consisting six in each group: Control Group (CG), Blue Light-6 hours (BL-6), Light-12 (BL-12). CG maintained with 12/12-hour light-dark cycles. The BL-6 BL-12 exposed (450-470nm/irradiance level 0.03uW/cm2) for 6 12 hours, respectively. Rats until first signs puberty. ELISA method was used analyze serum levels FSH, LH, testosterone, DHEA-S, leptin, ghrelin, melatonin, glutathione, glutathione peroxidase, malondialdehyde. Testes dissected histomorphological examination. Results medians pubertal entry days CG, BL-6, 38 th , 30 28 days, (p:0.001) testosterone concentrations all similar. FSH concentration increased as LH (r: 0.82 p: 0.001). DHEAS decreased, respectively -0.561, 0.01) (r:-0.55 p:0.01). Testicular lengths weights BL smaller compared (p: 0.03),(p: 0.04). GPx higher than (p:0.021, p:0.024). Testis tissue compatible period groups. As time increased, spermatogenesis suppressed, capillary dilatation edema increased. Conclusion is show process. And we showed that duration lead precocious rats. suppressed spermatogenesis, marked vasodilatation interstitial area testis, disrupted integrity basement membrane. These findings intensified increasing time.

Background: Early menarche has emerged as a significant global concern due to its myriad health implications. Divergent findings characterize existing research on determinants, prompting the necessity for this study elucidate discordance among them and broaden spectrum of predictors early menarche. The primary objective is determine mean menarcheal age influence various factors, including socio-demographic characteristics, body mass index (BMI), lifestyle habits, onset in our population. Methodology: This was questionnaire-based cross-sectional carried out southwestern region Karnataka between 2016 2017. A total 700 high school girls aged 14 16 years were recruited via simple random sampling technique. Results: found be 12.67 ± 1.19 years, with 33% experiencing it before 12. Factors accelerating included BMI, excessive exposure audio-visual media, lack exercise, non-vegetarian diet, late sleeping determined by stepwise logistic regression analysis. Conclusions: Findings emphasize significance monitoring trends identifying modifiable factors influencing onset. There need educational programs focusing holistic girls.
