The
future
professions
of
vocational
high
school
(SMK)
students
are
connected
to
career
paths
selected
and
often
accompanied
by
uncertainties
in
decision-making.A
factor
affecting
adolescents'
confidence
decision-making
is
parental
influence.Therefore,
this
research
aimed
explore
the
relationship
between
Career-Specific
Parenting
Practices
(CSPP),
such
as
support,
interference,
lack
engagement,
with
Decision
Self-Efficacy
(CDSE)
SMK
students.The
method
adopted
was
a
quantitative
survey
including
254
participants
consisting
eleventh-grade
Surabaya
(with
mean
age
17
years,
48,8%
female,
51,2%
male).The
population
sample
using
convenience
sampling
method.The
results
showed
positive
correlation
support
CDSE
(r
=
0.481,
ρ
0.000)
well
negative
engagement
among
-0.165,ρ
0.008),
while
interference
no
correlation.The
stepwise
regression
analysis
that
representing
18.9%,
strongest
predictor
influencing
students.Therefore,
research's
implications
emphasize
importance
shaping
students.

Penelitian
ini
mengeksplorasi
peran
penting
dari
efikasi
diri
dalam
membentuk
perilaku
siswa,
terutama
berfokus
pada
korelasinya
dengan
motivasi
belajar
di
antara
siswa
kelas
delapan.
Dengan
menggunakan
pendekatan
korelasional
kuantitatif,
penelitian
melibatkan
seluruh
populasi
yang
terdiri
177
strategi
sampel
jenuh
pengambilan
secara
kebetulan.
Instrumen
untuk
mengukur
dan
diadaptasi
sebelumnya
telah
melalui
uji
validitas
reliabilitas.
Analisis
data
dilakukan
teknik
korelasi
product
moment
Pearson
menunjukkan
adanya
positif
signifikan
(r
=
0.421,
sig
<0.001).
Temuan
bahwa
tingkat
lebih
tinggi
berhubungan
peningkatan
belajar.
menggarisbawahi
pentingnya
meningkatkan
memberikan
wawasan
berharga
pendidikan
bertujuan
hasil
siswa.
