The adequacy of language education largely depends on the favorable and unfavorable emotions that teachers students experience throughout process. Simply said, emotional factors play a key role in improving quality teaching learning. Furthermore, these also promote well-being learners place them suitable mental condition. In view impact health learners, many educational scholars around world have studied factors, their background, pedagogical consequences. Nonetheless, majority previous studies employed traditional research methods assessing variables influences teachers’ learners’ health. Because complex dynamic approaches often fail to evaluate dynamic, non-linear connections with well-being. Accordingly, some novel are required measure dynamicity complexity settings. To address this call, current state-of-the-art conceptual article seeks provide new insights for investigating potential states. This study intends offer comprehensive list emerging take into account nature variables. Finally, outlines implications review researchers.

Recently, researchers have focused on various factors influencing work engagement, particularly in the EFL context. In this vein, study was carried out to investigate relationship among proactive personality, flow, and engagement China. so doing, three instruments including Proactive Personality Scale, Work-Related Flow Inventory (WOLF), Work Well-Being Survey (UWES) were used. Employing a convenience sampling method, 350 English teachers selected from 20 provinces Structural equation modeling (SEM) utilized analyze obtained data. The findings demonstrated positive correlation teachers’ engagement. results of SEM also indicated that could be predicted by both flow personality; however, had more predictive power. theoretical practical implications for second/foreign language different stakeholders.

Teaching is deemed a taxing enterprise, especially as far higher education concerned. As result, much research attention has been showered upon exploring the correlates of engagement for instructors. To contribute to this direction, present researchers carried out survey test model work in Chinese context. Teacher self-efficacy and resilience were added predictors hypothesized model. A number 372 English foreign language (EFL) instructors contexts selected through convenience sampling. The measurement models latent variables (i.e., self-efficacy, resilience, engagement) confirmed via running Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Afterward, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used structural results obtained from analyses showed that both teacher could significantly predict EFL teachers’ engagement, with serving stronger predictor than resilience. outcomes suggest some implications stakeholders such teachers, trainers, policy makers, officials.

However, the determining governing factors implementing English as a foreign (EFL) contexts have been overlooked. To fill this gap, study used semi-structured interview with 35 Chinese EFL teachers to sketch ecological practice at micro, meso, macro levels. findings thematic analysis showed that ‘teachers’ personality/character’, ‘classroom environment’, ‘students’ gender’, ‘proficiency level’ were most significant micro-level classes. Concerning meso-level factors, ‘institutional environment/climate’ rules, regulations, policies’ influential. This study set out to scrutinize the interplay between 338 (218 male and 120 female) English as a second or foreign language learners’ writing boredom (L2WB) coping strategies, along with mediating role of motivation (L2WM). Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis indicated that L2WB is negatively associated L2WM in classes. Results also revealed negative relationship cognitive well behavioral approaches (L2) practices. In addition, was positively predictive approach strategy while being avoidance boredom. showed significant indirect effects on both cognitive-oriented strategies (i.e. strategy) via L2WM.
