Phytopathogenic fungi induce severe diseases in plant hosts, potentially leading to significant crop quantity and quality reductions. In this study, we isolated identified pathogenic that threaten the successful cultivation of annual perennial crops northern Thailand. Samples with leaf spots, fruit rot, wilting, dieback symptoms were collected from 19 different Chiang Rai, Mai, Sakon Nakhon provinces Out 183 isolates, 27 selected for molecular analysis multi-gene phylogenetic study based on their diverse host range, geographical distribution, an initial morphological assessment. Four most species-diverse fungal genera - Colletotrichum, Diaporthe, Fusarium, Neopestalotiopsis identified, along 23 taxa, including four novel species. Six species Colletotrichum (Colletotrichumabelmoschi sp. nov., C.fructicola, C.makassarense, C.plurivorum, C.siamense, C.spaethianum), six Diaporthe (Diaporthefistulosi D.hongkongensis, D.melongenicola D.rosae, D.sennicola, D.siamensis), five Fusarium (Fusariumbubalinum, F.languescens, F.nirenbergiae, F.sulawesiense, F.tanahbumbuense), three (Neopestalotiopsisformicidarum, N.theobromicola N.zakeelii, unspecified taxa), characterized study. Additionally, fourteen new records eight are reported. Pathogenicity tests carried out strains, results confirmed pathogenicity plants. This offers insights into diversity

Citriculture has been one of the most important agricultural activities worldwide. Brazil is among five major citrus producers in world, together with China, European Union (EU), United States, and Mexico. Together, these groups are responsible for about 50% global fruit production this industrial segment generating direct indirect jobs. However, several citric diseases such as canker, huanglongbing, variegated chlorosis, black spot have associated annual losses tons fruits orange trees impacting economy decades. Citrus canker caused by Gram-negative bacteria Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri. symptoms formation chlorotic rings leaves, stems, fruits. Huanglongbing (HLB) mainly Candidatus Liberibacter spp. its main appearance yellowish branches deformed small leaves spots. chlorosis (CVC) bacterium Xylella fastidiosa causes spots irregular edges on deformation new leaves. (CBS) fungus Phyllosticta citricarpa generates lesions reddish-brown leaf lesions. Since agriculture, current review addresses features including their transmission, well diagnosis control strategies that studied so far application field.
