This study examined the relationship between ChatGPT's usage frequency and perceived value among 386 international university students from selected universities in Caraga Northern Mindanao regions of Philippines, specifically to moderating role disposable income. Utilizing a quantitative, cross-sectional survey design, results showed significant positive correlation value, supporting hypothesis that more frequent use leads greater value. However, this was found be moderated by income, with being stronger lower incomes. These findings imply while increased generally enhances effect weakens for higher-income students, possibly due their access alternative resources. The underscores need consider income when integrating AI tools into education promote equitable maximize benefits diverse student populations. Future research should investigate these dynamics longitudinally across various academic disciplines.
