Background: Emotional abuse is often described as a precursor to physical and has significant negative impact on individuals' well-being. This widespread issue, especially in the educational context. The study aims investigate prevalence of emotional among medical students at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University Health Sciences Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Methods: A cross-sectional was conducted using survey designed Google Forms. data analyzed SPSS software version 27. However, detecting essential protecting health, academic progress, professional development, well-being future patients. Abstract Background Abuse is an ongoing public health issue that results in increased morbidity and mortality rates. against individuals with disabilities a pervasive deeply concerning issue, often compounded by factors of vulnerability dependence. This study aimed to identify prevalence people among abused victims victim’s associated risk Saudi Arabia. Methods cross-sectional obtained data from National Family Safety Registry. All registered children adults between April 2017 December 2022 93 centers across 13 regions Arabia were included. Logistic regression models used determine association independent variables victim-related such as onset abuse complications, victim being adult or child, gender, whether they had been previously abused. Results Individuals comprise 1.4% ( n = 199) all reported cases 14,004), trend violence has decreased during 6-year period. Of disabilities, 72.4% children, 57.8% males, 45.2% abused, 65.3% complications Caregiver type, perpetrator age, previous status significant factors. Conclusions highlights disability evaluates Arabia, which demonstrates urgency for targeted intervention support. People constitute vulnerable demographic who require support resources. Comprehensive collection can be utilized effective prevention strategies. Further research should explore qualitative methods survey rates community gain deeper insights.
