Ganoderma lucidum (GL), commonly called Reishi mushroom, has been utilized in traditional medicine against multiple ailments including obesity and metabolic complications. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ability powdered supplementation GL (2.5% w/w diet) its ameliorate associated alterations high‐carbohydrate‐high‐fat (HCHF) diet–fed obese female Wistar rats. Thus, after 56 days feeding mice with different treatments, we measured physiological parameters effect. Phytochemical analysis by HPLC identified bioactive polyphenols GL. Results demonstrated that significantly ( p < 0.05) prevented net rise body weight reduced organ weights abdominal fat deposition It improved glucose intolerance, decreasing blood level (6.2 nmol/L) compared HCHF diet–induced rats (8.67 nmol/L). also ameliorated plasma lipids total cholesterol (106.4 mg/dL), triglyceride, LDL‐C (55.26 VLDL‐C, restored elevated serum profiles alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD) (42.58 U/g tissue), catalase (CAT) activities, glutathione (GSH) (62.63 nmol/g tissue) Furthermore, hepatic infiltration preventing steatosis. Different catechin, rutin, cinnamic acid, vanillic quercetin, ferulic kaempferol were detected analysis, which might be responsible for activity. Bangladeshi cultivated possesses antiobesity effect is rich phenolics could prevent obesity‐associated disorders.

Mushrooms of the genus Ganoderma are known for diverse biological activities, demonstrated both traditionally and experimentally. Their secondary metabolites have shown cytotoxic potential across different cancer cell lines. Besides exploration most active components in species or genotypes, new formulation techniques development. In recent years, there has been a growing interest use nanomaterials because significant pharmacology applications as substance carriers. Applying nanoparticles may enhance medicinal effect mushroom substances. This study investigated properties methanolic extracts against HeLa line. Notably, extract obtained from pfeifferi highest activity was further used encapsulation within synthesized mesoporous silica MCM-41. Subsequently, loaded MCM-41 to free form compared. The results indicate successful encapsulation, similar comparing encapsulated (IC 50 16.6 μg/mL 20.5 μg/mL, respectively). addition, four unique compounds were identified applanoxidic acid A, G, ganoderone B G. pfeifferi. is an essential prerequisite steps like nanoparticle functionalization sustained on-command delivery these natural extracts.
