Abstract Mitochondria‐targeting synergistic photothermal/dynamic therapy (PTT/PDT) represents a promising approach for enhancing cancer therapy. However, only few such smart nanoparticles are currently available and most of them with existing moieties targeting mitochondria based on the delocalized lipophilic cations, which pose potential toxicity due to their accumulation in mitochondrial membrane. Herein, multifunctional “nano‐magic bullet” (AuNR‐Ce6) is designed engineered negatively charged peptides mitochondria‐targeting, imaging‐guided PTT/PDT. AuNR‐Ce6 prepared gold nanorods (AuNRs, as PTT) bullet cores peptide linked Ce6 (as PDT). It proved that nanorod‐like structure formed by can efficiently deliver AuNRs into be specifically cleaved enterokinase (ENTK, overexpressed cells), subsequently resulting fluorescence ON reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst. Abstract Benefit from the deeper penetration of mechanical wave, ultrasound (US)‐based sonodynamic therapy (SDT) executes gratifying efficacy in treating deep‐seated tumors. Nevertheless, complicated mechanism SDT undeniably hinders exploration ingenious sonosensitizers. Herein, a receptor engineering strategy aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) sonosensitizers (TPA‐Tpy) with acceptor (A)‐donor (D)‐A’ structure is proposed, which inspects effect increased cationizations on US sensitivity. Sirt6-mediated gut microbiota plays a vital role in poststroke depression (PSD). Icariside Ⅱ (ICS Ⅱ) is naturally-occurring neuroprotectant with Sirt6 induction potency. However, it unknown whether ICS protects against PSD through modulation of microbiota. This study aimed to reveal the effect and potential mechanisms on PSD, microbiota-gut-brain axis was investigated. Using middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) establish post-stroke (PSD) mice, we assessed anti-depressant effects via behavioral tests, immunohistochemistry, western blot. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is an innovative treatment that has recently been approved for clinical use and holds promise cancer patients. It offers several benefits, such as low systemic toxicity, minimal invasiveness, the ability to stimulate antitumor immune responses. For certain types of cancer, it shown positive results with few side effects. However, PDT still faces some challenges, including limited light penetration into deeper tumor tissues, uneven distribution photosensitizer (PS) can also affect healthy cells, difficulties posed by hypoxic microenvironment (TME). In conditions, PDT's effectiveness reduced due insufficient production reactive oxygen species, which limits destruction lead relapse. Apple (Malus domestica) is the third most produced fruit worldwide. It a well-known source of bioactive compounds mainly represented by hydroxycinnamic acids, flavan-3-ols, dihydrochalcones, dehydroascorbic acid, carotenoids, chlorogenic epicatechin, and phloridzin. Due to lack recent evaluation clinical trials associated with apple consumption, this review investigated effects on metabolic conditions related inflammation oxidative stress reviewed applications waste food products.
